Jones' Café — Restaurant in England

Jones' Cafe in Biggleswade is the perfect spot for a cozy coffee break! Their welcoming staff and relaxed atmosphere make it an inviting place to catch up with friends or enjoy some solo time. My two months there were made even better by their upstairs dining area, perfect for working, complete with comfy couches, seating areas - and who could forget about that electric fireplace?! This quaint cafe had me coming back again and again.

Their menu has a range of energizing coffee and protein shakes, to vibrant smoothies and juices - there's a delicious selection of drinks available. To top it all off, the mouth-watering bagel sandwiches make for an irresistible snack! I highly suggest trying out their signature mocha or chai lattes – you won't be disappointed with these tasty treats!

In addition, the premises include a fitness center. I did not get the opportunity to look into it, despite the fact that I have heard positive things about it.

Coffee was alright, bagel was really good. Problem was the wait time.

We were prepared for it after having been warned by multiple people. However when the person at the counter said it will be a a bit of a wait, about 15 minutes she said.

We waited 40 minutes for my bagel and then 5 minutes later the coffee came out. This is absolutely mental to me. I've worked in and frequented 100s of cefes in my life and the only places I've seen waittimes like that is in a Starbucks over Christmas will a line wrapping around the building! This place was not rammed and as we waited we tried our best to reason why the service would be so slow. Other customers outside were all talking about it too.

Just such a shame because I'm a sucker for a bagel in the morning but we have decided that even on a lazy day we can't justify waiting that long for coffee and bagels. One of the gym staff was outside at the end and seemed really friendly too, wishing us a good day as we left, seems the place is done right except...

Staff were nice enough but my first (and last) experience here was underwhelming to say the least.. Met a friend there for lunch. By 12.30 the sandwiches were practically all gone and not to be replenished when I asked for a toasted Panini. Ended up buying something I really didn't want. Unfortunately it was the same for my friend. How you can be out of sandwiches by lunchtime and not be restocking is terrible business. Also hardly any cakes to choose from. We both agreed with such a limited choice we won't return. Prefer to go somewhere/anywhere I have a certainty of getting what I want and not just...
