We'd driven past here so many times, and we always thought it looked so nice inside. We finally went for the first time a couple of weeks ago (just for a quick drink) which we really enjoyed. I had (incorrectly) assumed that it was predominantly a wine/beer shop with just a few seats inside, but realised I was completely wrong. Jorvine has plenty of tables inside, and has a really nice and cosy vibe about it. We saw some of the food that was being served, so decided we'd definitely be back for food at some point. We popped in this evening, and despite it being a busy Saturday (and us not booking) they managed to squeeze us in. Our server was excellent, super friendly and he was very knowledgeable. If you like wine, go to Jorvine. It will...
Read moreThe local wine shop/bar that I never knew I needed but now can’t do without.
Jorvine is a really nicely fitted out and decorated space. It offers coffee, cakes, cheese, freshly baked bread and light bites, craft beer and of course an extensive & thoroughly enjoyable wine list.
The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly in creating a great, relaxed atmosphere that fits in to the local community like it has always been there.
They also regularly host events such a wine or beer tasting showcasing particular vineyards or breweries.
All in all this is a lovely place that is well worth a visit for anyone who is into wine; and maybe even if you aren’t, it’s still a great place to drop in to...
