Nice wide-open fields along the River Ouse accessed from Naburn Lane. Great place to walk and exercise your dog and kids. However they are overgrown this summer whilst normally cut regularly. So you need to watch out for obstructions on the paths and for any animals. We spotted a young deer on our walk and of necessity kept our girl on a lead. Generally a pleasant area to wander by the Riverside and to have a look at Bishopthorpe Palace.
