Joy Café — Restaurant in England

Delicious! I have Celiac disease and this place is a gem for gf and non alike! My husband and I each got the avocado savory crepes and they were sooo good! We also got the Nutella and strawberry crepe for dessert and it was amazing! They do not go light on the fillings so each bite is oozing with goodness!

We each got drinks as well. I got a mocha which was delicious and my husband got the peach iced tea. His tea was amazing! We are still talking about it.

The whole place is gf so celiacs don't need to worry and can order and eat freely.

There is lots of outdoor seating but only a small amount inside so I definitely advise going on a nice day.

The staff are super nice and accommodating. Open to adapting orders to be as you like and understanding of allergies.

Was looking for a nice lunch with my partner, both vegan, and decided to ask about the vegan options on the menu. We were absolutely delighted- Joey talked us through all the different things we could have, both sweet and savoury- lots of different combinations that they were happy to make up for us. Our galettes were made with vegan butter and vegan cheese and were delicious!! All the drinks can be made vegan, and their desserts were too- we weren't expecting that as well!

Another tip, if you like matcha lattes, they make an amazing one with organic vanilla, really the best I've ever had.

Joy is definitely the right name for here - for the people and the food, the whole place is lovely. Can't wait...

Best customer service award goes to them honestly. The food there is AMAZING and I finished my crepe super quickly even though I was already full haha. The people there was super nice too when I was walking by and checking out the cafe not sure if I should order something or not, the lady there smiled and waved at me it was really sweet. They also made sure I was enjoying my food while I sat there and they were super nice to the other customers too. At the end they even offered to make some free ice cream for me WHATT 😭 I couldn't take it because it's their hard work they're offering for free haha but I'd definitely go there again and I'll make sure to give a tip...
