I recently visited KFC and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. Right from the start, the service was noticeably slow. I expected a quicker turnaround, especially during peak hours, but it felt like an eternity waiting for my order. It was frustrating to see other customers receiving their meals while I was still standing there, wondering when mine would be ready.
When I finally got my meal, I was looking forward to enjoying some hot, crispy chicken, but to my dismay, the chicken wasn’t even that hot. It felt like it had been sitting out for a while, which really took away from the experience. I’ve always loved KFC for its delicious, freshly cooked chicken, but this time it just didn’t live up to that standard.
Furthermore, the staff didn’t seem particularly engaged or attentive. They appeared indifferent to the long wait times and the quality of the food being served. It felt like they were going through the motions rather than genuinely caring about the customers and their experience. A little friendliness and attention can go a long way in making customers feel valued, but that was sadly lacking during my visit.
Overall, it was a disappointing experience at KFC. The slow service, lukewarm chicken, and lackluster staff made it hard to enjoy my meal. I hope this was just an off day for them, as I’ve had better experiences in the past. However, I can’t help but feel let down this time around. Wow what a shocker haven't had KFC for god knows how long and I think iv just reminded myself why .. visited today ordered and had to wait 15mins for my food even thou I was stood in a empty store other then the 2 customers already sat eating!, Then I received my food for it to be just lukewarm, also I think the staff would benefit from shake up or something as they same to be no direction/enthusiasm/attentiveness and 2 employees that came across as a couple Kirsty/Matty seem to think it's ok to have their kids behind the counter at the drinks machine I would of thought for one, it's against health and safety regs and hygiene standards, and another, it's a place of work first guys! I was left feeling like I wish I would of followed suit of staff at this KFC branch as while a was sat there 2 staff members came walking in with 3 bags of BURGER KING I know now I would of been better off going there. If you want people to use the self service, have them all working. Despite only one working the poor girl behind the counter couldn't take my order, obviously a poor attempt to save money by employing less people. I wanted to use my blue light card, recently been changed from 25% discount to 10% but everything helps. The girl said use the self service then scan your blue light card which was completely the wrong information. Somebody else was waiting to use the self service as only one was working so I needed to wait again. Despite all of this I still couldn't order at the counter and decided to leave without any food.
