Worst customer service I’ve encountered in years. Red, raw and at best, pink in parts chicken, not at all stringy or cooked, literally dunked in the frier and removed and served in the time that I washed my hands. Lord is my witness, we ordered, washed my hands without using the toilet I should point out, returned and food was served. Granted we were close to closing time but this is no excuse. The incredibly rude waitress decided shutting me up by suggesting a refund as everyone say it is red and is just the colouring and marinade but no problem just take refund is all I met with. I politely declined the offer for a refund and asked for it to be cooked properly/remade which the lady nodded seemingly in acknowledgement to but said ‘just you can have refund’. Eventually they remade the food, which unsurprisingly took 3-4x longer to make and was actually cooked through.
I’ve never been made to feel like someone is shutting me up as a customer and am really not one to complain. Issues with food are understandable, but to argue needlessly with paying customers is entirely different, and furthermore, to degrade them, and pretend you understand what they are telling you when they say it is a red and pink solid cube, not stringy white chicken, and is uncooked, followed by slamming the customer complaints email on a table when asked for details and also suggesting you don’t know your managers name when politely asked whom I can address my concerns to given the food...
Read moreEvery time I go to this shop there is always parking space, or if I go to drive through there is not much waiting time at all. The sitting area has always been clean and tidy. Most importantly, as ti me customer service is one of the major factors for customer experience,along with the food quality and price, is up to standard, staff have always been friendly to me throughout the whole time and on every interaction. Food has always been up to standard as well, never had anything off or bad there. One thing that I do not really like is, when driving to the place, if you are coming from Town Bridge and you want to take a right turn into KFC, you may end up waiting for incoming traffic while blocking traffic in the right lane. This can be quite an unpleasant experience especially if you are a considerate driver and person. Also drivers being impatient and trying to go around you can cause danger to those driving ahead at the traffic light/ junction. There is no roundabout or any easy place to turn around if you don't want to make that tricky turn. Another hazard is the pavement you cross driving in or out of the car park / drive through. A member of staff said next time you should.. and I replied next time you should ask if I’m using g the app. And from there started being rude and saying did not like my attitude. Was talking to herself so I asked “ I you swearing at the me”? And the reply was I’m mumbling in my own language. Well that’s very polite I said, as I far as I’m concerned you could be swearing at me and I wouldn’t known. I could have just started talking in my own language. And even had the nerve the close the drive window in my face. I really wanted to go inside and return the food and ask for my money back. This is not the first time that staff has been rude to me at that restaurant, not playing the race card here but I have my doubts. All because I didn’t say I was using the app. By suggesting you can ask to begin with to avoid problems I’m being rude. Imagine in the UK with so many cultures (mine inclusive) if we all start serving customers and talking in our own language.
