The Peacock Pub — Restaurant in England

Should have taken a photo. It was so bad, that I won't even give the food 1 star. We don't know Peterborough very well. We Googled pubs serving food all day, because we were suddenly very hungry. We had lost track of time! Saw the 4 star rating, reasonable prices and was close by. We felt we couldn't go wrong! We were in for a shock! Kitchen staff had no experience or even basic qualifications! Way overpriced, child portions, luke warm plates and food. This pub had a bit of a bad reputation in the past, but under current management has become quite a nice place for a drink or food.

The Pizzas are lovely, nice thin bases and cooked in a wood-fired stove! The outside area has been made really nice, the double decker bus is a nice touch and really adds to the ambience!

The current management are active on social media and are always posting events that cater for families in addition to match-days at the Posh ground located...

Just want to say an ENORMOUS thank you to the very helpful young ladies who helped me out tonight after the posh game wen my taxi was inexplicably cancelled no reason why but thank you goldstar!
