KFC Poole - Ashley Road — Restaurant in England

Visited this fast food location on Thursday 20th March 2025, with a service user. On arrival, we were in eye sight of 2 female staff arguing. They continued doing this until 1 female employee with a name badge started walking to the counter. She was about to ask our food order when the other female employee with no name badge on said we couldn’t verbally state our order. Had to use the digital screen, even when stated, paying cash. We were dismissed and told to use the digital screen but could pay cash once the order went through. This action caused by staff defeated the positive interaction my service user needed to verbally communicate their order and had built up courage to state their order. the 14 piece bargain bucket I purchased only contained legs and wings, no breast chicken or thighs through deliveroo spent over £50 on bargain bucket and boneless box, when i rang to complain the manager on duty told me it says chicken on the bone and that’s what i received. i informed her that all kfc offer a selection of different types of chicken on the bone, there was no apology or any token gift offered, so basically id been conned! Furthermore KfC tv advertising show the box full of various sections of chicken and a full box. My box was less than half full as it contained only thighs and legs therefore KFC are guilty of misrepresenting what your truly buying.... I usually enjoy KFC, but this visit was a huge letdown. The chicken was dry, overcooked, and barely warm when I got it. The coating, which is usually crispy and flavorful, tasted stale and soggy instead.

The fries were cold and limp, clearly sitting around for too long. I also ordered coleslaw, but they forgot to include it in the bag — and when I asked, the staff seemed uninterested and gave me a half-filled cup that looked like leftovers.

Service was slow and unorganized, even though the place wasn’t busy at the time. The tables were sticky and hadn’t been wiped down, which made the whole experience feel even worse.
