Walked through the door to a sign advising wait to be seated - my friend and I stood for a good 2+ mins. The servers were in and out of the kitchen, locking eyes with us but not one acknowledgement. We approached the counter, again locking eyes with the employees to no avail. We seated ourselves, had to find menus covered in Ice cream from a dirty table and decided what we wanted. Approached the counter a second time when we were ready to order, stood there another 2 minutes with employees wandering around, locking eyes with us and ignoring us - at this point we’ve been in the establishment almost 10 minutes and not one person working there has said hello or even smiled - I’d like to add it wasn’t busy at all, perhaps they had a few online orders but maybe 2/3 sets of customers that were sat down and already eating. I had to catch one of the servers by approaching her and saying hello loudly to finally be acknowledged. She was very standoffish and rude, she was clearly irritated to be taking our order. We paid over £20 for a stack of pancakes and a set of minis with toppings. I could’ve let all of this go if the food was decent but I’m sorry to say it wasn’t at all. The same woman that took our order came to our table with our plates, she didn’t say one word, practically threw my friends food at her and walked away. We both had a few mouthfuls and agreed it wasn’t nice - the pancakes were still very doughy, to the point I could roll it up into a ball. The same woman walked past our table and we let her know it was raw and we weren’t enjoying it, I politely asked if we could have a refund and just leave it - she said she’d ask. Another woman came out and told my friend she couldn’t have a refund as she’d eaten her strawberries and cream (though the entire base of doughy pancakes was still there), she said I could have one. I joined the two women at the counter again where she arranged the refund - still not one word spoken to me, I understand perhaps they may have had a rough day, it happens to all of us, but when they spoke in their own language and had a laugh together whilst processing my refund as I’m stood directly in front of them - I realised they were able to smile - just not at their customers ! Funny that. She was incredibly short with me for the remainder of our interaction - I decided I’d let her know our experience wasn’t pleasant from the get go, she uttered “ok”, handed me cash and walked away. Won’t be returning!

Absolutely appalling!! Wouldn’t return even if it was the last place to eat on earth. We ordered through ubereats. HALF of our order never turned up. One of the items we ordered was the chocolate COVERED strawberries but I kid you not, a small drizzle around the plastic cup was all I was given for £7!!!! I can buy two large punnets of strawberries from the supermarket for that (Pics attached). We ordered a biscoff cheesecake that came FROZEN. The only slightly decent thing was the pancakes but even then I wouldn’t say it’s worth the price. Overall so disappointed, Ubereats gave us a refund of £8 which doesn’t even cover the cost of the missing items. Couldn’t even get hold of them to call and say about the missing items, as the phone number on the website doesn’t exist!! Please do not go here and waste your time. I am livid.

I have been here 3 times now and always extremely slow service. We were the first ones in the other day and took nearly 25mins just for 2 milkshakes which did not even have everything in them advertised. Cookie dough had been over microwaved and was rock solid in the middle. Also they advertise they open at 11 but do not start serving until 11.30 no mention of this outside or on the website but people coming in after us was getting food before half past! Toilets were grim and the cleaning rota was dated 2 weeks ago. Sometimes they decide to wear hair nets while preparing food sometimes they don't. Staff could do with more customer service training. The place is abit cramped you feel like your sat on top of other people but it is a small place and very popular because the food is rather tasty!

The Little Dissapointment Shop.

We arrived to a very quiet restaurant filled with dirty tables, we were seated at a table up against another that was flooded with what looked like melted ice cream by a waitress that greeted us not like customers but uninvited acquaintances. We were handed the menus which were all dirty and sticky not just on the covers but also on a lot of the pages. We ordered (from a very unenthusiastic impolite teenager at the counter) savoury waffle desserts the chicken tikka waffle and the chicken bacon and egg which both arrived at very different times were cold and and poorly presented. The chicken was dry and tasted so bad that my wife wouldn't risk eating it through fear that it was gone off. After noticing the lack of chicken on the other we discovered that the stale cold leather rectangles were in fact not bacon either but a tasteless tough fake bacon I can only guess was made from mechanically recovered chicken left overs. My friends arrived about 20 mins after we did and the waitress said she would clean the table next to us for them to sit before walking out the front of the restaurant where she stood in clear view of the customers smoking in uniform instead of clearing the tables that had by this point spent at least half hour dirty and we ended up going and getting cleaning spray and a cloth from the counter ourselves to ensure our friends had somewhere clean to sit before One of them found a hair in her cappuccino.

My first and I can promise last experience I had of the hoped for only dessert place in Trowbridge was absolutely awful The food was disgusting and inedible, the cleanliness was unacceptable for a food establishment and the service was appalling. The one positive thing about our lunch was that the milkshakes looked appetizing, they only looked that way though as they were flavourless and seriously over priced.

I know the place is relatively new but this isnt teething problems this is just poor standards in all areas. Wouldn't recommend dining here in any way shape and form the best part of the little disappointment shop...

Absolutely awful visit. The waitress was fantastic but unfortunately was the only member of staff on the shop floor with six members of staff behind the counter. It was an awful atmosphere with incredibly loud music playing and we were surrounded by tables complaining at the poor service from staff behind the counter. We went to order and I asked what the gluten free cake was as there were no labels on the cakes. The manager who served us didn't know and then told me he didn't think any of the cakes were gluten free and it was just that normal cakes had been miss-labelled but he would go and check. Five minutes later we were still waiting at the till for him to return only to realise he had instead returned to another table to continue to deal with their complaint rather than serve us or find out about allergy information as he had said he was doing! We were eventually served by someone else who also couldn't tell us what was gluten free and so he passed our inquiry onto someone else who told me that four of the cakes, including the egg free and vegan cakes, were gluten free. I found this difficult to believe, however, and nobody seemed sure so in the end I had to go without anything to eat. Our drinks arrived, the hot drink cold and flavourless and the cold drink warm and flavourless and then my sister's crepe arrived. It was so dry it cracked into pieces when she tapped it with a fork. It was inedible. In the end, we asked for a refund but even that wasn't simple as they struggled to work out how much the crepe cost and therefore how much to refund us! All in all, with the exception of the lovely waitress, staff seemed extremely under-trained in every aspect of their role. Will not be...
