Valeroso Lounge — Restaurant in England

Update again: Came here for a late lunch. There were very few staff about, and it felt even more chaotic than previously.

Ordered a big veggie breakfast - which was absolutely lovely. The Mr fancied some fries, so we ordered a portion of cheesy chips. The picture attached to this review shows the "portion" that cost £3.45... I'm not an expert but that's daylight robbery. Almost felt like asking if this was a sample, and the rest would be out in a moment.

Update: Bit chaotic tonight, didn't feel as if anyone was in charge... Food was good, drinks were... drinks. Still recommend here as somewhere to eat, though.

Previously on Google Reviews: Things have changed, for the better, since my last review. Have been here a few times now and have really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Teething troubles may have hampered my first visit. Seems only fair to change this now. Had an amazing meal with the hubby and a friend. There was a bit of a wait, which we were warned about and that was fine. Had some drinks and a catch up while we waited. The mountain of food we ordered turned up and there were three very happy people sat at our table. Even had some extra fried brought out as mine had been sat for a while and were "cold", they weren't but I wasn't complaining! Thank you for a Lounge experience that was above and beyond standard and simply delicious! Picture was taken once we'd started, as I had forgotten! Three Beyond Meat cheese burgers with kimchi fries, Mac and cheese and onion rings...

Awful. Avoid .came here having booked a table for 2 about 3 weeks ago as a birthday treat. Upon arrival struggled to find any staff. Place was busy . Couldn't hear conversation over the noise. Was taken to the oddest table in the place stuck in the room like an after thought in middle of lots of other tables. Asked to be moved. Got another table. Filthy dirty. Covered in ketchup.waited and waited for menus diddnt receive any. No drinks menu. Walked out . Disappointed. Went to Prezzo couple doors down and was treated amazingly. Lovely food. Service above and beyond. Avoid valeroso lounge at all costs. There rubbish attitude could have ruined a well planned evening.So decided upon the managers email to retry with free mains we tried again. Upon arrival searched for empty table. Eventually found one. Service not special minimum to be honest. Ordered lounge burger and fries. My son said it was ok. I ordered veggie breakfast. Waitress asked if food was ok. Egg overcooked a bit and mushrooms cooked so much shrivelled up. But not too bad. Thankyou to the manager for our meals but the place way too buzy and have a job to hold a conversation as so noisy. Sorry to say I feel nearby eating places have the edge over...

Terrible experience at this place in Trowbridge. Almost felt disrespected here. I ordered cocktails for a friend and myself. It was full of ice and hardly any drink so I took it back requesting to correct. The manager simply took the ice out and left us with a shameful glass with 2 sips in it! See photo attached. I asked him how much alcohol he has put and he said 50 ml. The whole glass is not more than 50 ml! He hadn't made the drink to specification but he insisted he did and refused to do anything about it. Shameful service. All he had to do was to just add some lemonade or something to male the drink better. Would definitely recommend you check how much alcohol content is in the cocktail as it seems like a scam to me here! Visited for the first time. Never experienced a service such as this. Out of principle he should have corrected it but he was obstinate!

Also worth mentioning when I arrived there was no one available to seat us at the table. The manager saw us but chose to ignore. I approached the bar git the menu myself and seated myself and no acknowledgement from any staff there. They were just busy doing their own thing. It was 10pm so still an...
