This place doesn't like having just a single person for their dine in, nice way to promote your restaurant. I went for some good Chinese food (Regret it greatly now), saw there's an all you can eat menu for 18£, thought it's worth the price but the all you can eat came with so many restrictions. You can only order 2 starters, a main and a side dish at the beginning, I thought it might be to save some time and reduce food wastage so I went ahead with it, ordered some prawns with breadcrumbs (It's crispy but really bland), chicken satay skewers, chicken is really chewy and sauce was also just bad. So for the main I ordered some schezuan chicken with chilli, it's alright but not a lot of chicken, there's hardly 50-100g (The portion is really small), but as it's an all you can eat I thought I can order it once more, so went ahead with a side dish, an egg fried rice. It's definitely not fried rice, it's plain boiled rice with some scrambled eggs, that's it. Uncle Roger will definitely die from screaming if he sees it. Once again, I thought it's an all you can eat, they must be skimping on preparation. So I ate my chicken but there's still half a bowl of rice left out, so I asked some more chicken for the rice and it was at this moment I regretted coming to this place. Apparently the all you can is only for couples, if a single person chose it, they will only give you a set portion. Boooom it took me a few seconds to understand what's happening. The waiter tried to make it seem like a good deal (Which is not at all), her attempt was good but at that moment I was just sorry for myself for visiting to this place. In the end I paid 18£ for a mediocre pair of starters, a very bad fried rice and a small portion of chicken. There are a lot of places that have all you can eat buffet at 15£ and I paid 18£ for a mediocre meal. There are better and even high class restaurants that serve a set meal like this for 20£ (Olive tree has it for 15£). So people please don't be cheated like me.

As a family we love eating out and trying out food across various cuisines including Chinese - and we have devoured from the takeaways to the Michelins… A few weeks ago,we decided to visit Mando at Bedford - a chinese restaurant with alacarte buffet We have been there twice already ! The buffet menu was huge and orders made fresh - lot of sea food / dumplings noodles etc - Staff is quite helpful and the owner Steven ready to listen to you.Food is superb and fresh and usually prompt service Quite crowded around dinner time - suggest book in advance. There is a large car park around 2min waking away .. Overall very satisfied and of course will return again

Had dinner here after going to the River Festival. We were seated and given menus, my husband asked for the full menu and gave us one menu between the three of us. Hmm! It was a hot day, so we weren't very hungry. We ordered the spare ribs with honey, crispy Mongolian lamb with pancakes and Chair Shui roast pork with egg fried rice. The food came very quickly. The ribs were nice and the crispy Mongolian lamb, not sure why they had what looked like cooked cabbage underneath. Would suggest warm the plate and put it on, no need for any extra garnish. Service was okay, no conversation or smile from the waitress when bringing drinks or serving food.

Went to Man do few weeks ago with my family for a meal at Christmas time and the whole evening was appalling. The waitress was miserable and quite rude, unwelcoming and obnoxious. We ordered our starter and then asked if we can order second time as it is advertised you can eat as much as you like and the waitress had a go at us and said we need to order our main course, so we didn't bother ordering starters the second time. Then the man behind the bar came and start clearing our table then i had to say we haven't had our main yet. Also their child was running around he restaurant touching the cutlery on every table. One chef came out from the kitchen and his clothes were filthy and no hair net or hat on. The toilets were so filthy we had to wait to come home to use the toilet. The waitress was fine with other customers but with us as we are of a different race she had a very bad attitude towards us, perhaps that is the reason why. They had no Christmas atmosphere in the place and i will warn all my friends and family not to ever go there. it was the worse experience ever, if I could i would not rate them even 1 star there should be a way we can rate...

One of the worst palaces I've ever been to. From the entrance you can see walls full of mould and after you enter is not a big difference, they have nice photo's online witch don't show the reality. We tried to order our starters but our waitress coud not understand english and needed to see the numbers on the menu to know what we are talking about. We ordered something that they call Pinot Grigio but soon realised it has nothing to do with the wine. After we got the starters we immediately realised that we just want to pay and leave, as we have never tasted such bad Chinese food. The food was so full of oil that if you squeeze it oil came out, prawns on toast didn't even have prawns, it was just bread and sesame seeds. Anyway I've asked for the bill and for four people and two kids, after we didn't even get what we ordered exactly, we had to pay £70 for the worst food ever. It was so bad that we didn't care about the mains or something else, we came home and ordered a delivery. I would never recommend anybody to go there!!! Really pissed off...
