Discovered Maya after a day at nearby Longleat and wanted to round the day off. Have to say the atmosphere was the best I've encountered in an Indian restaurant - the warmth between the owner/manager and diners who must visit regularly was brilliant, without making me as a first time visitor, feel like I was missing out or intruding. Food was superb and ranks in my top 5 curries off all time. Price was a lot lower than I was expecting and cheaper than my normal East Midlands curry house.

Loved the food, and a Sunday special, £9.95 for a starter, main, side and rice was great. The food was very tasty and the Byriani was probably one of the best I've tried and there was plenty of it. Its a nice little restaurant with only 6 tables, which in my opinion is always good as they can give you the attention you need when eating out.

One of the best Indians I've had. All fresh and cooked nicely. Not local which is a shame. The places is small so would need to book. The service was good and the place was clean. I especially liked that they had a good children's menu with nuggets etc as what 5yr old likes a spicy curry!! This also was a good portion size.

Rude. Made racial abuse. Disappointing experience.

This is probably my first negative review. Forced me to leave this review.

We went to their restaurant today evening. We were five adults and four kids. Our kids were feeling sleepy. No one seem to be at table to take orders. We directly went to the guy (seem to be the owner) at desk/bar to place the order. We said we wanted to place the order for kids first and adults later. This guy seems to be having problem with understanding English and quite tensed. He said he doesn’t have kids menu. We again repeated that we don’t want kids menu , we just want to place the order for kids & kids are going to sleep. This guy asked us to sit down rudely and we will take order all at once table by table, “you cannot place order one by one”, all at once. We decided to walk away from the restaurant. He said “leave, thats why I don’t like Indians and don’t take Indian customers”. Made racial abuse while leaving. Saying to other customers that “first they want food for kids and they ask for starters & then they order mains. Kitchen will be chaotic”?!??!?

Why he is running restaurant?!?!

I am perplexed that why he is running Indian cuisine restaurant if he doesn’t want to serve Indians. Why he cannot serve cuisine from his country whichever he came from? Gutless.

You probably had six tables at the dungeon and you lost 50% of revenue. Foolish...

It's absolute fake Indian cuisine, no where close to Indian food. Food had loads of sugar, not sure if they cooked food in sugar syrup. It's definitely not an India cuisine guys. Extremely bad service, very rude staff. Poor management. Now, we are regretting for not believing in those reviews where people mentioned about their rude behavior of staff. I wish could have taken some pictures or have made a little video to show it to people. Would never ever recommend this place to anyone... Best thing about restaurant which i noticed is whoever in giving negative feedback, they are all fake reviews and whoever is praising are all genuine customers. I can see the other comment where he mentioned that there is no table for 20 people, Is there any option if can upload copy of the bill to make people believe. If anyone know, please let me know how to do that, would love to post the copy of bill. Then, i am sure everyone can decide who is real and who is fake!! Same day we stayed in a hotel and i gave 5 star to that hotel. So definitely I am not one of them, who is trying to ruin some one business. Firstly the food was definitely not Indian cuisine and more than food my biggest complaint is their behavior, which was really really bad that's the reason I am making this long post here. Good luck to them if that's how they deal with their...

Very smal Indian Restaurant. During lockdown there was room for approx 4 bookings. The food was of a good standard, well prepared and hot. Though some items were not available from menu, due to a busy Saturday night. That said, staff were friendly and biggest surprise of all was the bill.i knew it would be less than London Prices but I've ordered pizzas which cost more. Overall, very happy. If I had an observation it would be to add a bit more variety to Samosa and spice them up.I had to ask for raw chilli's to add a little...
