This little gem of a cafe can be found at the bottom end of Warminster town towards the Obelisk on the left hand side I visited on several occasions before writing this review and on every occasion I was warmly welcomed and the service was excellent each time. The first time I had tea, scones, jam and cream and sat in the very pleasant garden outside. It was a lovely way to while away the time, totally unrushed and relaxed whilst enjoying the summer sun. The sit down service was very fast too. Another time I decided too have some lunch. There’s a good choice of things on the normal menu and a weekly specials board as well. I went for the home made leek and potatoe soup with paprika and plumbed for the cheese toasty supplied with it for a mere £8 total (plus a bit extra for a coffee). Although sit down service is offered, staff are happy to take the order at the counter too. The soup was delicious and it was served within a few minutes. I normally find leek and potatoe soup a bit bland and I had my salt and pepper condiments at the ready. I was pleasantly surprised that no seasoning was required. It was full bodied, slightly spicy ace absolutely delicious! Compliments to the chef!!! Whilst sat down there were comments by other customers commenting about how good their coffee was - something that I would have to agree with. Well done “The Coffee Garden” I will return soon

Driving home home the out skirts of Salisbury and decided I needed coffee. Did a quick search and found if I drove on a little more there seemed to be a lovely cafe in Warminster. The Coffee Garden did not disappoint. I was very late in the day so the lunch menu was not an option, but lucky for me there was a fabulous in house made alternative. You have to try the pepper sausage roll! They asked if I wanted a little salad with it and the combination of the green salad, the coleslaw and home made chutney was extremely delicious. The coffee was really good. Got a cake to go and another roll for smithy as I knew he would be very sad if I returned home without a little piece of my adventure. 😀 The cafe also has a lovely little garden. I had a little wonder around Warminster but have suggested to smithy that we go for an explore very soon. Photos of around #thecoffeecafe and #warminster

Always knew this was a Magical place, but now I know their secret. They have Fairies helping make use of the limited workspace. Watch out for them down the bottom of the garden and note their tiny door at the counter! Main indoor space is compact, but it does have a back “garden” covered space, with lots of fresh air! Also it has the most compact “tiny house” toilet, which makes use of every inch. Even has an integral hand wash basin over cistern. Well worth a visit. Don’t be tempted to try their Banana Bread breakfast with yoghurt etc. It’s addictive - once tried you’ll be hooked! Apparently it’s homemade! Lots of fresh fruit, so it does count towards your 5 a day! Prices like everywhere have crept up a little but still great value at £6.40, so very happy to continue supporting them. Costs keep rising after all.
