McDonald's — Restaurant in England

Visited here purely because it was the only McDonald’s that had every part of our order available!!!

I always use the app to order as it’s a great way to avoid queues, plus you get points which transfer into free food which is a great bonus. On this occasion, all our local-ish restaurants had something missing from our requested order so we decided to have a little drive out to Catterick. Upon arrival it was clear to see it was busy, however we found a table and requested food delivery to that table.

Food arrived quite quickly considering how busy it was but it was just the food; no straws, no napkins; no sauces. Wasn’t a problem as I just went and got some from the self service area, but did think it was a little bit lax as you do expect these items delivered with your food, even when busy.

8yr old had standard 6 nugget medium meal with vanilla shake plus a Maltese McFlurry. I had a medium mccrispy deluxe with vanilla milkshake and a cream egg McFlurry.

Mccrispy was packed with salad, was very nice, apart from all the salad making it a bit lopsided. In addition, the sauce was only on one half of it meaning that the other half was a bit dry. Maybe nitpicking but just being honest.

Parking: lots as part of a shopping complex area. Toilets: Clean and smelt nice.

Was a short drive from the A1 so a nice little stop off if you’re on a long journey and don’t want to stop at a motorway...

Good evening google fam, although I have reviewed this branch in the past, and I don’t visit this branch often after tonight’s food experience I thought it only right to share with you all and of course any corporate bodies that may see this. We spent a total of 45 pound tonight for the family, the wait through the drive through as per the norm was quite long as per the usual as it is of course busy times however, the food that I was to receive was less than satisfactory to the point I thought should I just put this in the bin. The fries (for five people) were all cold, wet, a mixture of undercooked and overcooked and unsalted quite disgusting so they had to be thrown out, the burgers looked and tasted like they were kicked across the kitchen a few times and the carbonated drinks tasted flat and tired. Why didn’t you take them back you ask ? We had a bit of a drive just to get there so wasn’t worth the fuel. A highly disappointing visit unfortunately. I hate to leave reviews like this but I’m hoping the right person/persons sees this and might do something about it. I would highly recommend the leeming bar McDonald’s which is the usual branch we choose to use, won’t make that mistake again. Any way fam enjoy your evening and thanks...

The worse experience I've ever experienced going to a McDonald's!

Firstly I ordered through the app to make my journey more efficient and convenient however the money was take from my account £57.50 but I had to prove it had because the Manager didn't believe me as it hadn't come through to their system.

They got my order incorrect three times and while I was waiting for them to rectify my food was freezing cold!

The Manager, Emily shouldn't be working in customer service, nevermind as a Manager. She was rude from the get go, her appearance is of a WWE wrestler not a Manager in a cast food restraunt and her attitude is one which doesn't belong in a customer service facing role, I actually feel sorry for the staff working under her!

Luckily the Manager above her rectified what Emily failed to do however I still left with a drink short and it turns out my order was £17 more on the app than it was in store!!

WHAT A DISGRACE OF A BUSINESS!

While I was on site at the drive through I heard the 'Manager' Emily shouting about me but when I called to address the issues she was 'too busy' to talk. Ofcourse she was. A Manager without a backbone and a bad attitude, you should be proud!
