I regret to say that my recent visit to McDonald's at Teesside Park left me thoroughly dissatisfied and disheartened. The experience was nothing short of a nightmare, characterized by excessive wait times and a shocking lack of respect exhibited by the staff.
Upon entering the establishment, I was optimistic about doing my first delivery as an Uber Eats driver. However, that optimism quickly faded as I found myself standing in line for an unbelievably long period of time. The wait extended far beyond what one would expect, even during busy hours. The lack of organization and efficiency was painfully evident, and it seemed like the staff were struggling to manage the incoming orders. Yes continued to serve the drive thru customers. Are deliveries not orders?
What truly compounded my frustration was the attitude of the staff members. Instead of addressing the situation with professionalism and courtesy, their behavior was nothing short of appalling. Their disregard for customers' time was evident in their dismissive attitudes and lack of communication. The atmosphere was tense, with no effort made to ease the discomfort of those waiting. Especially the middle aged caucasian male manager who showed no concerns or even acknowledgement of the long que of drivers waiting for their deliveries. Who don't get paid to wait by the way.
As someone who values good customer service and understands that delays can happen, I was shocked at the blatant disregard for customer satisfaction. McDonald's is a globally recognized brand, and one would expect its branches to uphold a certain standard of service. This particular location, however, failed to meet even the most basic expectations.
I am deeply disappointed by this experience. As an Uber Eats driver, I rely on timely service to ensure that I can efficiently deliver orders to customers. The excessive waiting times not only affected my schedule but also tarnished my perception of McDonald's as a reliable option for quick meals.
In conclusion, my visit to McDonald's Teesside Park was marred by frustratingly long wait times and an alarming lack of respect demonstrated by the staff. I sincerely hope that the management takes note of these issues and works towards rectifying them. Customers deserve to be treated with courtesy and professionalism, regardless of the...
Read moreWe got our order, staff were friendly enough but minimalist. I asked for no mayonnaise in my burger, to which the operator said it doesn't come with mayonaise, it comes with coleslaw. I assume he meant it doesn't come with mayo as a whole, concentrated.
We got our food, parked up, and immediately saw kids in what we assume is their parents car (how can anyone so young afford a car like that) repetitively accelerating into a plastic bin, squashing it between the bonnet and lamp lost, making the lamp sway a worrying amount. He found it amusing with that smile to his friends in the car opposite.
We moved elsewhere because of our last mcdonalds experience (wakefield by xcape, noted below). We found a quiet car park and after i opened my mcflurry container, gave it one stir, i found one end of a mcdonalds sachet. It wasn't mine or my partners, I'd just removed the lid and my partner had finished eating.
Our last experience was at Mcdonalds, wakefield: we had chavvy kids in their toys (cars) assaulting us because we left our dog in the car at night after work in 7 degrees celcius (not warm) for a 5 minute visit inside, resulting in them blocking our car in, walking close to our car intimidating us, following us for a long time on the road, and cops got involved...not like they did anything, nor the staff at the restaurant who encouraged the "regular customers". My partner who was driving had a huge panic attack, and was also a recent assault victim with PTSD.
As i understand it, many people live or eat daily at mcdonalds country wide, and I'm absolutely shocked. Get some bunks in there and folk can spend their fortnightly wage on that and local pubs with less...
Read moreAppalling, got food delivered, I notified Uber driver to tell the staff, not to miss out sauces as staff at McDonald's always forget and make sure the food is still hot as I waited over an hour for my food to be picked up and delivered. Uber driver informed me they asked staff and when I got it, the whole thing was stone cold freezing! No exaggeration, it was cold to the touch and chips started going soggy. Uber won't refund cold and poor quality food! McDonald's teesside park quality is horrific sending out cold food with missing paid items as well. I will not be returning as standards have drop, with it being the second time iv had a bad experience within a week. Last experience, I got someone else's order, and when I contacted McDonald's they said it wasn't their problem, it was Ubers, yet it was McDonald's staff that gave Uber the wrong order, while mine was still sat there at the restaurant and they weren't willing to send it out as I sent the Uber driver back with the wrong order. Luckily that's was refunded and I went else where... Never again! Honestly horrific, and I can't be the only one, as this has happened...
