So, My family and I turned up at the McDonald's after visiting Wicksteed Park. We was a contingent of five adults, three children and two infants, one of which has disabilities. There was no room downstairs for us, so because we had a pram we asked if they could unlock the elevator, so we could sit upstairs. The lady I asked, said the upstairs was closed and there's no one up there. Well, that was incorrect to begin with, there were several families up there. So I asked her, where do you suggest we sit then? To which see just gave me a blank look. One of the staff at the same time was taking a table delivery upstairs???? Then this other member of staff said the upstairs was open and that she didn't know it was suppose to be closed, followed by the original member of staff saying I didn't know it was open, how longs it been open... etc, etc, etc.... Catherine Tate would of been in her element listening to them. Anyway whilst those two were having their discussion on I didn't know.... I asked them to unlock the elevator so we can get some where to sit, to which one went back to doing what ever she was doing, and the other went to get the key to unlock it. About five minutes later, she came back and said the manager has gone home with the key. (Which I didn't believe for one minute) Again I said, where can we sit then, to which the girl gave me a blank look. My daughter then took my Granddaughter with the disabilities out of the pram and carried her upstairs. I carried the pram up. Let's not talk about the H&S issues this raises. When we was upstairs one of the staff said, the manager hasn't gone home with the key, they don't know where the key is, apparently it was lost ages ago??? Eventually the food was brought up to us, and I noticed the young lady was wearing a Crew Trainer outfit. So I asked if she does the training and she said Yes. I told her the story what I've just wrote above and she was very apologetic, polite and empathetic seems it was blatantly obvious the team, had mis-informed us and tried to wiggle their way through misinforming us even more. I believe the Crew Trainer was called Faith, (Maybe) and I asked if that's what she trained them to do. To which she obviously said No to and was really apologetic again. I give the Crew Trainer 10/10 for how she was. Well done young lady 👏 But the rest of them were a crock of ..... They might aswell put a sign on the entrance saying, If you have any issues, our staff don't give a flying .... Good note, the...
Read moreI really wish I didn’t have to write this, but it’s been the same problem every single time I order from this McDonald’s. It doesn’t seem to matter if I order through the McDonald’s app, Uber Eats, or Deliveroo — there’s always something missing.
Whether it’s fries, dips, drinks, or even entire burgers, something is guaranteed to be left out. It’s honestly ridiculous. Trying to contact customer service is next to impossible. And if you do manage to get a response, they just shift the blame to the delivery company — even when it’s clear the boxes were sealed at the restaurant and the missing items were never packed in the first place. It’s just excuse after excuse. if you actually go in person to complain, the manager will usually give you the missing items without a fuss. So clearly they know it’s a problem — they just don’t bother fixing it for anyone who doesn’t show up at the counter.
It’s frustrating because I keep giving them another chance, thinking maybe it was just a bad day. But it’s clearly not a one-off — it’s a pattern. Either the kitchen is rushing too fast, or there’s zero quality control when packing deliveries.
McDonald’s, if you're reading this: please fix your delivery system. Start double-checking the orders before they go out. Hungry customers shouldn’t have to gamble on whether or not they’ll get...
Read moreWent to mcdonalds on kettering road in Northampton. Service was slow. Im a delivery driver so i dont have time to waste. But i was standing around for about 10 mins after i order food for it to be prepared and handed over to me. As i seen my number up on the screen i walked over to the desk to receive my order, and the woman rushing around like ahe wanted to finish her shift and go home, split the drink with my order all over my food looked at me and said "you didnt see a thing". She took another 3/4 minutes to replace my drink. I thought she it took her that long because maybe she was checking to see if my food was ok. She handed me my drink and wet bag of food. I got to my van and realised there was a puddle of fanta in my bag with the food soaked. When i took the food back i was given incorrect items! I was given the wrong wrap, from a crispy chilli chicken i was given a veggie one, and my large fries were now replaced with small fries. I called the restaurant today and the socalled manager was useless, i asked to speak to a manager and she asked store or normal manager. When i told her store she said she was the store manager. If she really was the manager why wouldnt she say, "your speaking to the manager". Then asking me to come in store is the only way they can help (when im Birmingham)! Rubbish staff and...
