Absolutely mad experience! Ordered food at digital order stand. Opted for table service. Sat down - it was busy so when order had arrived after 15mins we weren't particularly concerned but on checking the order screen our number wasn't on there but we are told by the table next to us that because we opted table service it probably would come up on the screen. Waited another 10 minutes. I went to countervand explained our dilemma- no food had arrived. Very nice young lady goes off to find out what has happened. Then another lady come back and says she is just going to check where the food was. She approaches two men in their 20's who are happily eating. Hs a convo and comes back to me. It would appear our food was now being consumed by the two men. Long and short of it, when our number was announced they claimed our food and nonchalantly proceeded to sit and eat it without fear of challenge. Despite being rumbled (they had only ordered a double expresso initially) no one took the food from them and they continued to enjoybour food at leisure. In fact they had the brass neck to go back to the counter and complain the d. expresso they ordered was not on thev tray ! Two things at fault here - firstly they thieved the food, and secondly noone in MacDonalds challenged them and removed the food they had not paid for ! It was astonishing that they were so blatant but that McDonald's allowed them to finish the meal in comfort without recompense ! All I kept hearing from the staff was 'oh it happens all the time ' The Duty Manager should have dealt with this...

Wait Time (2/5) We went late at night due to travelling and there was no inside service so everybody had to use the drive through. It was after midnight and maybe 7 cars waiting.
We were there a very long time, i can understand they need to make specific things to order because it's so late but when we got to the window they gave me the drinks then ask me to wait a little and after maybe 3 minutes they tried to hand me something and called out what I did not order. So then we waited under 5 more minutes and got our items which were 2 double cheese burgers and a medium fries.
Not sure if they were a bit disorganised with just our order but in the queue we waited at least 20 minutes so if that happened with everyone it would make sense.
Summary... The quality of the food was good and consistent for McDonalds so thats a positive. The wait time was too excessive and if they allowed in door dining they would be more efficient and they could handle more than 2 orders at one time.
This is based on one occasion and at midnight so a very specific review hence a 3 star rating (mainly due to the food...

Lads on the night shift at the time of writing (01/07/2025) are excellent. Fast. Efficient. Excellent customer service. Absolutely none of the confrontation or icy âsorry I canât help youâ bilge you get in other places in this franchise when things like the app go horribly wrong.
Food was piping hot. Exactly as ordered. And a good meal actually. I had an âArchâ - the guest burger that should be added as a permanent fixture all the time. Like⌠a meaty Big Mac - what a Big Mac should be. Chips were hot, good and salty but not to the point of overpowering. Perfect.
No complaints at all. The night team on here are definitely on point. Better than the day crew. And head and shoulders above that shower at Corby.
Tonight it was what you always hope for when you visit a McDonalds. And sometimes get. But not often.
Iâll be back to this one. I hope they continue to take care of customers like they took care of me...
