Modern Cuisine — Local services in Great Britain

Hi we used the online service this evening for my daughters birthday treat and when the food was dropped off I discovered that the 2 bags of sweet and sour chicken ball and chips were missing. I rang the restaurant and was left on hold for 5 min may not sound long but I had 6 hungry people looking at me not knowing what was going on. I was told eventually that some more will be cooked and sent out. I did not receive an apology from the person on the phone. I know the restaurant wernt to know this but our microwave is broken so we had to start eating what food we had 30 minutes later we received the rest of our meal. The meal just felt ruined and disappointing. My daughter birthday meal was a let down ☹ and shes off back to uni tomorrow so also our last family meal. I also asked for an up to date menu pamphlet and didnt recived it. To be fair the food was nice we were just disappointed in the customer service and not really enjoying eating it...

Ordered via Just Eat and left a note to say I am deaf so please text when outside so I can pay. I had two missed calls at the time I was told the delivery would be. I looked outside but could not see anyone. I then had my friend call who is hard of hearing but can hear a little bit. He spoke to a woman with an accent which he was unable to hear very well but made out that she would pass his mobile number onwards to the driver to text when he is outside. 10 minutes later his phone rings and it is the woman for the restaurant. He was unable to hear anything she said and when he asked for her to repeat herself she said "thank you, bye." We have no idea if it was cancelled or if the driver will be coming or not.

I used to like ordering food from this place. That was until I ordered last time and the delivery driver went to the wrong address several times, didn’t call me even though they had my number, then when he finally called me he was extremely rude and couldn’t find where I lived after 30 mins of me trying to help with directions. So I had to walk to a nearby shop to pick it up at which point he had a go at me for not finding my address. I also called the person at the restaurant and he was also rude shouting at me to call the delivery driver. All in all, a horrible experience and I will never order from the...
