If you know your pizza your mind will be blown!! This is truly authentic Neopolitian pizza made exquisitely. Those unfamiliar with the art of Neopolitian pizza may find the crust doughy and the middle squishy but to me these are pizzas of beauty, made lovingly withe the best authenitic ingredients and I have rarely sampled to this quality outside of Naples! If you want thin and crispy go to pizza hut... The Stella here is the best I've tasted outside of Naples and love the way they experiment with different ingredients and flavours. I was travelling 30miles for a decent pizza before this so over the moon to have such an amazing pizzeria in Derby!

The pizza chef certainly knows how to bring the flavor of good Italian pizza to this small part of England: he is passionate, has good technique and uses excellent ingredients (even tomato sauce and mozzarella seem to come from across the Channel). A small note: metal plates cool the pizza too quickly, ceramic ones (especially if slightly heated, during the winter season) would preserve the crunchiness for longer!

Had a lovely meal with friend . We got the Carne and Mushroom and Truffle oil pizza which we split in half. Both delicious and the crusts were out of this world. Reasonably priced and you can have your meal at the restaurant or inside the dining area of the Georgian hotel. Service from our server was also great.

I have a lot to say; firstly my husband and I are both foodies. We have been everywhere, we have tried everything, and Pizza Pony's Pizza is unlike ANYTHING we have tasted, nothing comes close or compares to it! the base, the sauce, the crust, the burrata, every single component of this pizza is like absolutely AMAZING.

for those people complaining about waiting times...yes they get very busy, but it's not a big deal and definitely does not deserve lower rating because of it. They are a popular small business; with barely any proper seating arrangements, of course they would be busy. its just an indicator of how great their pizza is.

the ONLY issue I have is that there are not anymore branches around the UK :(, i dont live in derby anymore but if i did i would be visiting Pizza Pony...

Me and my partner love their food so much that we asked them to provide the food for my partner's 30th birthday and they were fantastic.
