Mokobo — Restaurant in England

Oh boy this is a hard one to write due to the fact the food that was coming out of the kitchen looked absolutely delicious. However the experience of eating at Mokobo burger was a sorely disappointing one. Having pre booked a table for 6 o'clock we sat for 40 minutes without a check in or more infuriatingly a drinks order being taken. Now granted we did go on a Tuesday which is their 2-4-1 burger night, but I still don't think that justifies that sort of wait time for a drinks order to be taken !!! The restaurant was about half full at the time. I would of been prepared to wait for food if we'd be told on arrival that they where short staffed or that it was a bit of a long wait on food tonight for whatever reason. I tried to get a servers attention but we seemed to be stuck in a vortex where no one would come near us. The final straw came when we noticed a table who has been seated a good 15 minutes after we had arrived, having a order taken down. I think the fact we got up and left after 40 minutes, walked pretty much the length of the restaurant and weren't stopped says a lot. Maybe we just got unlucky but Im not sure I'd risk another rumbling belly and...

Ordered the Oh My Hotdog for delivery with some sweet potato fries and onion rings... order arrives.. no hotdog.. called store 100 times, no answer, called delivery driver, he doesn't work for them.... had to travel to the restaurant which was packed and only two girls on front! To which one tells me there are no hotdogs left, but they just sent the order anyway! No contacting me, no answering their phone, they just sent me onion rings and the fries... on a £16 order (thankfully a promo deal so I got much cheaper)?... so, they said they would give me something else and apologised.. they didn't replace the now cold fries or onion rings, oh no.. they just popped an overly greasy yet rather undercooked burger in the bag and sent me on my way...??? Needless to say I will not be ordering from here again.... Oh and the sweet potato fries , taste...

Visited today for my partners birthday. The rustic fries were advertised as soft and crispy but were actually so over cooked there was no insides to them so had to be returned of which they then tried to bill us for sneakily. The burger itself had no taste and needed some seasoning, the food is way over prices for the lack of quality and taste. The burgers are £10+ and the. Require you to pay an extra £4+ for some chips (which are poor quality as stated above) the place itself is beautiful and so well decorated and we wondered why it was literally empty for a Saturday but realised once we received our food. Such a shame considering we travelled from Weymouth just to come here. The demeanour of the lady serving us was awful is well. overall a poor service especially for a special day.
