Key fact: NO STREET LIGHTS. At night there are no street lights beyond the skate park near the fields and whatnot. The area is very dark and the surrounding area is renowned for being a little crime ridden and dodgy. So be careful! Kings park is great. Huge area fantastic for dog walking. AFC Bournemouth's football ground is situated on the grounds of kings park, and an athletic track, skate park, public football fields and private hire, cricket fields and a cricket field cafe with a good view (makes a great bacon butty) and more.
