Had to pop down to Bournemouth from east london on a grim November morning. Went to this cafe for a brekkie and found the staff and other customers very warm and welcoming. I have to mention the young girl serving my breakfast on Saturday morning, she was a credit to your establishment. I ordered a double up breakfast and the sausages/bacon were good quality and not your budget variety. Even the the tinned tomatoes and eggs were good. Brown toast was on point. The tea was served in a small pot with a side of milk. As a seasoned cafe tea drinker I always prefer the old fashion big tea urn in the kitchen and a large mug of it served piping hot. But i am old fashioned and that type of tea is alas a dieing art. Good food good service good...

Grabbed a quick cheese toastie & coffee before my train from Pokesdown. It was seamless time wise (as I was concerned about timing). Literally all I mentioned was "train" & it was like this young lady had been in the same situation herself. I ate half inside the cafe, and now I'm eating the rest on the train in a super take away container speedily provided before I left. Read moreVisited 'Kitchen' for the first time today... Amazing breakfast, cooked to perfection. Coffee was lovely and service from the lady working today was brilliant, friendly, smiley and helpful. Chef called out 'goodbye' while we left from the back... Such a lovely warm atmosphere to the place and the deco is great too. Very reasonable price for the breakfast and was left feeling well fulfilled. Can see it's dog friendly too, another bonus. Fully recommend and looking forward to visiting for another cooked breakfast and coffee again soon. Many thanks...
