rating reflects final service only, not food
Genuinely baffled by the service we just received.
We had a lovely meal, food was amazing (shout out to Moses) and lovely service throughout the night (shout out to Frieda).
But then we went to pay.
For context, we're visiting from Australia having a meal with our family. We went to pay and (as is normal) the international credit card asked for a signature. This was signed for. We offered to leave a phone number as assurity. We were then called back by this woman we hadn't seen all evening who asked to see the card again. In itself, this is fine, HOWEVER she was so unbelievably rude the whole time, barely made eye contact, did not smile, acted very concerned etc. that it ruined the whole night. We showed her the card & the signature had rubbed off. This then started off this massive palaver despite the fact that we showed her signed ID AND even offered to pay with a different card. At the end I was so upset I had an unhappy look on my face, and as we were leaving this woman took it upon herself to start loudly commenting on my "attitude" and that "this is normal"? The process is normal, the level of rudeness is absolutely not. To top it all off we had left a REALLY generous tip and I wish I could take it back. Definitely will not be returning as long as...

This is NOT authentic Caribbean food at all. Whoever is cooking needs to learn how to cook authentic Jamaican food. No flavour, wrong seasonings used for the oxtail. Oxtail isnāt supposed to be tomatoey. Rice and peas hasnāt even got coconut cream in it, no thyme, or seasonings, itās a complete waste of money. Definitely NOT a Jamaican person cooking that food. Big disappointment and will be getting a refund. Also the seasoning in the curry mutton isnāt what Jamaicans use, those spices/seasonings is what is used in Indian curry. Stop making cuisines that you cannot cook, itās ridiculous & making non Caribbean people believe this is authentic.

NO the rice did not have coconut cream in it and if your COOK was Jamaican the oxtail would not have any TOMATOES in it therefore wouldnāt taste TOMATOEY and your curry wouldnāt taste full of Indian spice. You arenāt fooling anyone so NO I donāt need to meet the cook. You arenāt trying to fool a Jamaican person so please stop lying & accept accountability. Your rice and peas did NOT have any thyme or spring onion in it & there is NO reason for me to...
