Mrs Sourdough Bakery — Restaurant in England

⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ I stopped by Mrs Sourdough Bakery and was genuinely impressed! I had a delicious cinnamon roll and a chocolate-filled brioche — both were fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delightful.

But what truly surprised me was finding real matcha on the menu! I’ve been coming to Chatham many times and have never found a place that offers proper matcha (sorry, bubble tea matcha just doesn’t count). I’m honestly so happy — I won’t have to travel all the way to London anymore just to get a good cup.

The only downside was the price: I paid €6.50 for the matcha, which is quite a bit more than what I usually pay in London for large cup (€4–5). Still, it’s a small price to pay for quality, and I’m thrilled to have found this little...

I had passed this bakery on my way to Chatham so many times with the intention of going in and trying out their sourdough bread and I finally managed to go in for the first time last week. The staff are amazingly friendly and the breads, bakes and cakes are up to expectation! The multi grain sourdough loaf is amazing, the best I've tried so far anywhere and that's including from stores like Harrods and Bread Ahead in Borough Market! The family are also hooked on their cinnamon babka and their giant salted pretzels. Although I'm tempted not to post this, as I don't want this wonderful secret to be exposed to too many people, I genuinely think that the team at Mrs Sourdough truly deserve all the accolades and success that...

The bread and pastries were perfection!

The maple and pecan swirl was the most delicious one I've ever had and was big enough for two of us! It was beautifully spiced, sweet, sticky and oh so yummy.

The only thing I'd love to see is a menu board of some kind as there wasnt one out for drinks. Me and my partner were left guessing what drinks were on offer and how much they cost. We also saw other guests eating sandwiches but saw no sign of them on the counter or listed when we ordered.

100% will be popping back in for more amazing bread and cakes!
