Mugs Coffee House — Restaurant in England

I will no longer go in Mugs to eat since they refurbished the kitchen and toilet area because the toilets are now shared facilities for men and women. So I have moved to ordering on the apps for their food if I want it. However today I ordered two breakfasts, and including the delivery costs and service charges it cost over £20. I waited over an hour and then checked the app only to find it stated it was saying it was delivered. It had NOT been delivered. Mugs would NOT help, would NOT send out replacement breakfasts and also said it wasn't the first time the driver had done this! Mugs expected me to reorder the food and pay AGAIN, knowing I had not been refunded because it takes 2 days just for the app to respond to you notifying them of a problem. I asked them to contact the driver but they stated they had no details of any drivers. Ridiculous! If a company uses a third party for their business, they should get these details for the sake of their business and their customers in the event that there is a problem. Oh my word, what a warm and friendly place this is, the staff are so lovely and no request is too big or small, the manager and chef always say hello if their about, children are welcome only downside is there isn't much round for pushchairs, high chairs are provided also. Food is wonderful and with a wide variety from salads, burgers, breakfasts, jacket potatos, sandwiches on a choice of bread/roll and of course cakes and treats. There is a vast choice of drinks to choose from, including a small seasonal section and all very reasonably priced I feel. Their must haves for me are ... Hot chocolates (choice of flavours) with lashing of whipped cream, marshmallows and a flake on the side, Milk shakes in your choice of flavour which comes with whipped cream and real ice cream. Jacket potatoes there cooked just right not too soft or crispy and oh my word that coleslaw is to die for. You can also call in your order and then come and pick it up to save you waiting for it to be prepared as they understand lunch breaks fly by.

You won't regret taking your weight off your feet here I can...

I love this place for many reasons.

The decor is really nice particularly the lamps.

The staff remember how I like my Latte. Chai and Spiced.

The cake selection is awesome. But theDaimbar cake is particularly yummy.

I went in once for said cake saw a customer with a breakfast and thought I will be having that instead. In May I was able to treat 2 friends celebrating birthdays to cake from there and it was nicely presented in a tidy little bag.

Sharing nachos are also great value.

They welcome customers from all walks of life and treat them all as equals.

I always say the people are the first thing I look for in defining the success of a business. Mugs are no Mugs. Friendly...
