Beware if you're vegetarian or have an allergy! Myself and my husband were both served meat last night despite being vegetarians and ordering vegetarian dishes. Luckily, I realised I'd be served meat rather than halloumi in the Gyro, however, my husband wasn't so lucky and was served meat moussaka rather than the vegetarian version, and he consumed some before realising. I was so looking forward to visiting, the setting and food looked beautiful, unfortunately what happened during our experience was completely unacceptable. The team did apologise, but I do feel as though the apology was not genuine, there seemed to be no urgency regarding the situation. I appreciate human error happens, however, this could have been a very different and serious outcome if the 'orders were mixed up with another table' and we had an allergy. I still can't quite process what happened, my husband is devastated that after 5 years, he's unwillingly eaten meat, he still feels physically sick. I appreciate that unless you're vegetarian or vegan yourself, it's difficult to comprehend the severity of the situation but it is honestly devastating. We were so looking forward to our visit and championing and recommending independent local business, Unfortunately, what happened is unforgivable, I dread to think what could have happened if it was an allergy concern. I recently hosted a special event for 37 guests at Santorini in Stockton Heath, and I honestly can't sing their praises enough! From start to finish, Niko and Metodi went above and beyond to make the entire evening absolutely flawless.

They worked closely with me to design a bespoke welcome drinks package that set the tone perfectly — stylish, fun, and uniquely tailored to our group. The set menu they created was simply superb: every course was bursting with authentic Greek flavour and beautifully presented. Our guests are still raving about the food!

But what truly made the night magical was their incredible flexibility and attention to detail. They cleared space to accommodate a live ABBA tribute band, coordinated timings with ease, and even embraced the spirit of celebration with some traditional Greek plate smashing — which added such a joyful, unforgettable touch.

From lighting and layout to liaising with performers and making sure every guest felt looked after, Niko and Metodi managed the entire evening with warmth, professionalism, and a genuine desire to make it perfect. Nothing was too much trouble.

Went to visit here for my birthday and was really impressed with the food and service. Some of the best Greek food I’ve ever had, very authentic. We had bread and olives, plus absolutely yummy dips like whipped feta, halloumi, Chicken Caesar salad and chicken gyros and everything was delicious. They made us feel very welcome and made a real effort to help celebrate my birthday. We ended with some traditional baklava and another desert which I can’t remember what is was called but again both were delicious and authentic. Really impressed and good to see something like this in the area.
