• Chai – Absolutely spot on! Rich, warming, and brewed to perfection. It’s the kind of chai that makes you stop mid conversation just to appreciate the flavor.

• Nimbu Pani – Crisp, citrusy, and unbelievably refreshing. The balance of tang and sweetness was just right an ideal drink to cool down with.

• Bombay Sandwich with Chilli Chips – Comfort food at its finest. Crunchy on the outside, packed with spiced potato, chutney, and veggies on the inside. The chilli chips added that extra kick we didn’t know we needed.

• Ragda Pattice – An absolute standout! Soft potato patties smothered in a spiced pea curry, finished with tangy chutneys and onions. Every bite was a beautiful chaos of flavor hearty, comforting, and authentically Bombay.

The service was warm, the atmosphere buzzing, and every dish delivered on both flavor and authenticity.

So we ordered off Deliveroo my pops always calls to say no cheese as the little ones are allergic to cheese. As we are regulars they know my dads order no cheese. When the food came there was cheese so my dad rang back spoke to a lady and asked what’s the next option here and she cut him off .. rude right ? Then we rang back and spoke to some very rude guy (the owner i assume) and he kept arguing with us that there’s an option on Deliveroo to remove cheese and thought he was right we told him plenty of times check the app there’s no option only on Uber eats but he thought he was mr right and then cut the call off again. The the way he spoke to my pops was absolutely awful he was ever so rude! End of the day if the kids took a bite and they are allergic to cheese imagine I could have sued it’s a serious situation anything could have happen to them. This is very poor service it even says on the Deliveroo app please contact the place for any allergies and we did! Very disappointed . My partner and I recently had lunch at Sandwich Station during a visit to Leicester, and we wanted to share our positive experience.

Despite it being late afternoon, the restaurant was quite busy, which is always a good sign! We were pleasantly surprised to be seated within just 5 minutes, showing excellent efficiency from your team.

The Bollywood-inspired theme inside is fantastic and really adds to the atmosphere, perfectly complementing the menu filled with Mumbai street food delights. We especially enjoyed the Dabeli Pav and Khasta Kachori – both dishes were absolutely delicious!

We also appreciated that all the items were reasonably priced, the portion sizes were good, and the service was incredibly quick. It truly made for an enjoyable and satisfying lunch break. It was also a lovely touch that the owner personally welcomed us.
