Nando's Cramlington — Restaurant in England

Ordered a takeaway and travelled in to pick it up. I got a call on the way in saying that they had ran out if chicken wings so I wouldn't be able to have any. I couldn't do anything about it so I just shrugged and said OK. Then when I got there they had managed to find 7 wings!! They didn't charge me for them. My order was prepared and I took it away. Half way home I got a call saying my wings hadn't been packed and could I come back please!! OK, another 10 minutes later I arrived, collected my wings and left. Got home to find that my starter was missing as was my wife's along with one of her sides and a couple of other bits that we had ordered. Phone them and was told that either I could have a twenty quid voucher or come back and have a fesh meal. Not really my idea of good service or our idea of a quick takeout to save time. We just won't go back.

It's October 10th 2021 now and Nandos haven't even replied to my original review. I've noticed they only reply to positive reviews. Is that because they don't like criticism?? Have a bit of back bone Nandos...

Absolute joke of a place. 1 star is generous. After walking through wet leaves in the doorway just to get into the place, it took 5 minutes before I even got a welcome. All the staff are distracted by the phones hanging out their back pockets going off every 5 minutes. While waiting for a hello at the designated place I did witness staff hiding in the kitchen replying to their phone alerts. Finally got sat down and ordered, the lass with a phone hanging out of her pocket taking our order was spot on but after 10 mins of waiting she come and informed us what we wanted wasn't available. Why did it take 10 minutes to find that out? Got a substitute but whole experience was ruined by then. Took another 20 minutes to get our substitutions and everything was Meh. Didnt enjoy anything. Worst experience ever, hence the 50 page review. AVOID!!! Theres way better within...

Food was lukewarm, not hot. This was our first time at Nandos in Cramlington although we visit other Nandos quite regularly. The restaurant was not busy at all as it was a weekday at 12noon. Shown to a table very promptly and had our order taken with no wait. We each ordered butterfly chicken, asked for it well done, and 2 sides. When the food eventually came the chicken and the chips were only luke warm, the rice was slightly hotter. When the staff member came to ask if "everything was alright" with our food I pointed out that it was not very hot. He went away to speak to his manager and came back to offer us a free dessert which we declined. Shame but we won't be returning. We like Nandos, but it's not cheap so I won't pay over £30 for...
