Nando's Warrington - Junction 9 Retail Park — Restaurant in England

Never again! Lied to my a greeter at the door . My phone has broken and as we had just come out of car phone warehouse we decided to call at Nandos I obviously couldn't use the app and was told I need it to eat at a table . I asked was there another way and was told no ! I double checked and was told there was no other option. My husbands phone was flat and so that was it .I knew the greeter was telling lies as we had been in Nanfos the week before and the Male manager was Excellent Description( brown/ wavy/curly hair) and tall. He said if we had problem's with the app there would be a way around it Now the greeter was female about 5,2 With dark hair had lied and was happy to see us walk out until I told her about us being there the week before and what the manager had said . The female manager came over and i told her we had been lied too and she said well we prefer to use the app .She then attacked me for saying don't be having ago at the waitress. I clearly wasn't and was telling her about the conversation and now she was talking over me and shutting me up! Which is hard to do i admit when I am being attacked and not listened to as well as blamed ! I told her she was a terrible manager and took the wrong attitude and I'm sure mr nandos wouldn't like to know customers were being turned away out of laziness ! The female manager was tall thin white with dark blonde to light brown hair .. not sure if it was Emily ? She and the waitress were both rasing their voices after I said I am leaving and they even walked out off the restaurant floor into the exterior lobby ranting on and I asked them not to follow me and go back in!...

I absolutely LOVE nandos, so I hate having to write this. The decor was lovely, probably the nicest out of the 3 nandos in Warrington. Unfortunately the standard wasn’t the same. The staff were all very nice and friendly despite being rushed off their feet! After picking up the 4th dirty knife, we resorted to washing a knife and fork ourself in the sink next to the cutlery and sauces. We did wait 35 mins from ordering until our food arrived but it was extremely busy and we were told there was a wait on food before hand so we weren’t to bothered about the wait. However when our sharing platter arrived, we had to ask for another plate as the plate brought to us was dirty and had bits of the previous meal still on it (sauce and mash). The food wasn’t up to the usual standard either, the halloumi was rock hard and extremely salty and I like salt I’m always being told I have too much, so for me to find it salty meant it was pretty bad! We had a boneless platter and the butterfly chicken was lovely but the chicken wings were burnt and had no sauce or flavour on it even though we ordered mango & lime and the butterfly chicken had the flavouring on it. I’m really disappointed as, like I said, I adore nandos but I won’t be going to this...

I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you so much for the wonderful gesture you helped create for my lovely Mum Eileen. My mum sadly suffers from Alzheimer’s and is currently a resident at Whittle Hall Nursing home.

Before mum was ill, taking the family including her 3 granddaughters to Nando’s for her favourite meal was a regular occurrence that we all (especially Mum) loved.

She can no longer get out and about so Sarah and Chloe part of the amazing team at Whittle hall wanted to recreate the memory for Mum so they decided to bring Nando’s to her!

What an absolutely lovely gesture of your team to donate so much Nando’s amazing produce to help recreate a magical trip down memory lane for Mum. One of her granddaughters was visiting at the time and got to spend time with Mum in the special private “Nando’s” recreated with everything you could possibly find in a Nando’s restaurant.

We never thought we would ever see mum enjoying her favourite meal at Nando’s again, so not only did you make Mums day, but thanks to FaceTime we all got to experience it and you really made all the family so happy.
