Visited this place for the first time at 3pm 19/10/21 for brother's birthday meal with Dad. Girls greeting us were very polite and sat us down. However the 3 lads working the meat carving were some of the rudest and most unprofessional people I have EVER interacted with. Aggressive, sarcastic, belligerent. Made my brother and I feel very uncomfortable. One of them looked like he hadn't showered for days, the other was missing teeth, and the third hilariously had a huge black eye! I was stood waiting to get my food for over 2 minutes without either of them in sight. I tried my best to be polite to them and was met with contempt and hostility. Where on earth are you hiring these people? The food tasted great but my God the attitude from these 3 lads was shocking. This is not a training issue - this is a 'I've been here too long and hate it here' issue.
Furthermore, I had to walk up to the waitress working my table THREE different times to order food and to ask for our plates and glasses to be cleared. I've worked in the restaurant industry some years and let me tell you this is a management issue all round. No one seems bothered to do a good job. There were no more than 7 tables to work on a Tuesday afternoon, with around 5 girls working, and yet I still have to stand up to get someone's attention.
I went to the men's lavatory upstairs and there were 2 cubicles total. The first had the toilet seat missing, the second was possibly one of the most disgusting sights I have ever witnessed in my 35 years on this planet. The toilet was backed up to the rim and full of (I'll let you guess). I had to use the disabled downstairs which I hate doing.
I'll 100% never come back here and won't be recommending it to anyone...

Not only was James an exceptional server, but he also had a wonderful personality that made the dining experience even more enjoyable. He had a great sense of humor and engaged in pleasant conversations, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere for everyone around him.

Read moreAfter being seated with 2 of my guests and ordering beverages I inspected the turkey crown which was bare to the bone on one side and close to bare and dry on the remaining. I asked a waitress if she would please request a fresh turkey and was told that they would not do so until the remaining portions had been served. My guests and I waited and I observed that only one part portion was served to another guest. Waiting for 15 minutes our server was asked for the manager and following a discussion between the manager and the original waitress the manager was asked politely if she would request a fresh turkey. The answer was I had already been told this would not happen until the remaining portions had been served. The manager was asked to accompany me to view the turkey and informed me she had no need to do so. The manager was informed that my party would leave and when asked stated that she had no objections to my photographing the turkey. The beverage check was requested and settled. To add further insult, my guest was stopped on the way out and questioned as to who was paying for the beverages. The enclosed photograph clearly shows the condition of the product.
