Warrington Winwick quay Outrageous customer service!! Was told on the phone prior to booking we was able to use the blue light card so we went ahead and booked! On arriving we was told that half the menu options was not available I.e garlic bread, fries etc at this point we should of known it would be a disaster! Waited for around 20 minutes for service even though the restaurant was not busy!! When ordering the meal deals we chose chicken as one of our meats only to then be told there was no chicken either!! When asked for the bill we mentioned we had a blue light card which enables 25% off which we was told we could use... the lady then said we cannot use it on what we ordered!! This was not told to us upon ringing earlier or we wouldn’t of booked.
When stated we was told we could use the card the waitress just said well you can’t use it on what u ordered very abruptly! At this point we was very angry as our bill came to £60 for pizza
When approaching the manager at the end her attitude was disgusting and she simply replied well did you not read the terms and conditions Again when stated we was told on the phone we could use it she simply replied well you should of read the terms and conditions as "everything has terms and conditions" unfortunately I don’t believe we should of had to read the terms and conditions when we had already spoken to a member of staff who stated we could use it and didn’t mention anything about terms and conditions! Then when approached about the menu only being half available she simply replied .. “ I no” There was no compassion or sympathy from any of the staff and we certainly wouldn’t be going there again, They have the cheek to use blue light card to big themselves up as caring for nhs, but then tell you that you should have read the terms...
Read moreWe went on the sunday before christmas and had the buffet meal which included unlimited refill drinks and ice cream. We managed to get a comfortable seat right near the enterence. We had to wait 10 minutes from being seated untill our order was taken the buffet was full when we started and managed to get 4 pieces of pizza and some garlic bread at my first visit and it was good i did as they never brought out any more chicken and sweetcorn or ham and pinapple pizzas in the 2 hours we were there if you love pepperoni or spicy meat feast pizzas the buffet is great for you. They also run out of pasta within 20 minutes of us arriving it took 50 minutes before any more pasta was brought out the container was barely 1/4 full the pasta just covered the bottom as it took So long for pasta to be replaced the tomato sauce and cheese sauce were empty and all the pasta was gone in less than 5 minutes and it wasnt replaced again before we left. The restaurant was full with at least 3/4 of tables having the buffet at we arrived at 5pm on the sunday before christmas i left still feeling hungry as it took so long for items to be replaced and with so many people eating the buffet we would have been there past closing. The pizza i had the chicken & sweetcorn the ham & pinapple and the ham & mushroom were all really tasty the salad is really good and my husband said the pasta he had as soon as we started eating was really nice. It was just the organization and enabling things to be replenished quickly. For £14 per person it is great value if they replenish the food in a timely manner. Would i go back? If they have better systems in...
Read moreNot been in ages, in fact pre covid… salad bar no nachos, no pasta, no apples, sauces allowed to run dry.
Drinks only diet drinks available 😫 cant stand the sweetener taste in my drink.
The place had food everywhere, esp around the childrens ice cream machine that actually wasnt there 😳 they had to be given a scoop of ice cream. Choice of toppings again, down hill, children left more than they ate.
Order from your phone, no option to order/pay a server. This must put alot of people off. This means you cant pay cash either.
Jalapeno poppers used to be lovely and come with sweet chilli sauce, didnt read description just ordered out of habit as we loved them. Arrived with no sauce and to be told they have ketchup or bbq on the table… 😳
Or the salad bar has mayo yep all of those go well with cream cheese chilli bites.
No half and half pizzas for the large either.
And to top it off no chilli flakes.
Basically all the things we personally loved about pizza hut have gone.
If you knew pizza hut years ago, it was always clean, lots of choices, sauces even though they were chargeable.
You could go halves on pizza choice.
I will honestly, not go back again.
It was awful from...
