Not Just Sundaes Community Cafe — Restaurant in England

NOT JUST SUNDAES 🚼 We travelled 11miles gave our money to the carpark got there the gates were locked on Google they were open. On the first day of our holiday we decided to try again travelled 11 miles arrived gave our money to the carpark walked inside waited eventually a woman came to the counter and she said we are closed like we should know it's closed. We are shut till eleven no sign on the door to tell customers they were closed for mother's only breast feeding babies. That was our second trip there was nothing online to say they were closed for an event. Drink and food denied we won't be trying this place for a third time. I thought a cafe was a place serving light meals and drinks our breakfast was called off for breastfeeding club. Not...

If you're looking for delicious, affordable food with good ingredients (sometimes a rarity in the south), I can't imagine a better place in Dorset. On top of that, all of the staff that served my girlfriend & I were absolutely lovely people, and the converted church that serves as the cafe's location makes for a great indoor vibe with lots of natural outdoor light. Furthermore, if you research the cafe you'll find that it's actually a non-profit made up of mostly volunteers, with initiatives in place to help local charities. Truly a one of a kind place -- I'm looking forward to my next pot of tea there the next time...

Used to be so much better. Changed the layout so the toys are squashed at the back and up high so kids can't reach. Was much better when the sofas were around the toys. Tables are all for 6 people so have to share if only a few of you. Service is very slow 🐌 took 30mins to take our order of 2 drinks and another 30 mins to bring them over. Food portions are generous and pricing is cheap. With a new layout and smaller tables it could make so much more money. Lots of people walk out as they don't want to share tables...
