Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in England

I ordered my food at 17.55 I called at 18.45 to see how the order was getting on. I was told it left the store at 18.31 my house is a five minute drive away from the store however it turned up at 19.00 stone cold. I asked the driver to return this to the store. It took me 10 minutes to then get through to the store who took my complaint as a joke. It is my daughter birthday and I couldn't feed her and her friends. I rang 30 minutes later to be told my food was in the oven. I thanked them and ended the call. At 20.00 I called to be told my food isn't even cooking yet even though I ordered two hours ago. I asked to speak to the manager and the girl on the phone refused to pass me through and advised he wont talk to me. And if I wanted a refund I'd have to go to the store. Then she laughed down the phone at me. I advised I was on the way down. Once I got there the young boys were very polite however I told the girl her attitude stank and her customer service is shocking. I work in management and would not allow that. I asked for her name and she blanked me so I asked her again only for the response my name is nothing. The manager then came out and did not even take notice that a member of his staff laughed down the phone to me then completely blanked me and was sarcastic and rude when she did reply to me. I didnt want her surname just her first so I could write a complaint. 3 hours after my order I recieved my food and if I'm honest I wont be returning. I never received an apology. I at the end of the conversation with the manager he provided me with the girls name Emma.the store completely ruined my daughter birthday evening. Lucky I cant put 1 star. Pizza was awful poor...

Never order from here. I placed an order at 12:31(Lunch time) and was told no driver will come to collect your food until 4pm. Called multiple times and have never come across such unhelpful and rude people in a work place. At 1:09pm I was lied to by the workers (who refused to give there name) and was told they found a driver and food is on it ways, this did not happen. I called back at 2:07pm and was told that my food will not be coming until a driver collects at 4pm, I told the worker that this unacceptable and his response to this was to hang up on me. I tried to call back multi times but had no response. At 2:27pm I had a call back from the worker telling me your food will be coming soon, I feel this was only done as I threatened to report the worker to someone higher up in Papa Johns on the 2:07pm call, on that same call I asked for workers name again and worker refused to give it so I said I will be coming to the shop to find it out myself. Only then did they send out my food, and once the food arrived I realised they forgot my dip which cost 0.79p, my halloumi fries were cold and horrible as well. I have never had such a bad experience with a fast food company in my entire life. Very disappointing. Previously had great Papa John's pizza from other franchises round the country but would advise to avoid this one and go to Domino's just down the road instead. As a previous reviewer has said, very little toppings, basically paying for bread. Barely any sauce, barely any cheese and less topping than other franchises. How embarrassing to have brought three pizzas to feed our in laws to say thanks for having us to stay and we could have bought better pizzas for the quarter of the price from Aldi. Pizza was could have been hotter, although we did order online for collection and the app said even after we'd collected it that they still weren't in the oven. Don't bother paying the upgrade to the largest pizza (or bother with any pizza at all). The pizzas we ordered were meant to be 15.5" but when the square box is that size then the pizza is definitely not the size we ordered.. we got equivalent to a large at Domino's, probably 12-13" despite paying £2 more per pizza for the privilege of getting a normal size large.... Phoned the store to complain directly to be told they'd make us better pizza next time (not remake them) and take it up with corporate if we're not happy. Don't...
