I visited the Museum on Tuesday 26 September 2023. The coach drop off point was in Market Place, close to the building. The entrance has 4stone steps with hand rail. There is also a wheelchair accessible entrance, to the left where you ring the bell to be let in. However,it is not immediately noticeable. Also,I chose to use it to exit the building as I have reduced mobility,and had to request a volunteer to manually unlock the door. There is a lift up to the first floor and a disabled toilet. The toilet also includes a baby changing unit. The pathway around the exhibits are wide enough for a wheelchair or walker. As it is a local museum,the exhibits focus on Chippenham history, including trades. Thee was also interesting information about a local woman who became prominent in The Transport And General Workers Union. There is an opportunity to buy some local artisan crafts.
