Pleasant and well considered ground coffee and an excellent croque Monsieur to fortify me for a day out of fresh air and seaside walking.

A small rangeand well considered choice of panini sandwiches to be had here.

Modest breakfast options such as a bowl of muesli or more substantial bacon rolls.

Service was good and thankfully not thrown at you but timely and thoughtful and a pleasant change to London service the proper mugs was preferable to throw aways.

I provisioned a three day trip with some of their excellent ground coffee less than a week old.

My only criticism of this is that surely it's best to grind it to order for takeaway but the quality is sufficiently high to not concern me.

An interesting range of adult soft drinks which is a pleasant sight.

Well situated with a very good outdoors space.

Genuinely friendly people who are interested in what they do.

I give a full five star recommendation and won't hesitate to drive a few miles from the mainland when in the area.

Parking can be had for a few pounds and it's a good one to consider if you're traveling further afield or a must visit if you are...

An incredible little place. Had been recommended this place by a couple of people.

We went on a rainy day, but could still sit outside under cover, the garden is a lovely little environment. Lots of birds floating around looking for a few crumbs, but all small birds like finches, was lovely.

The coffee was fantastic, started out with just an Americano, but had to go back for another, and got a Chai Latte, which was amazing.

However, the best thing on the day was the Spiced Coffee Bread. It was absolutely incredible and probably one of the best pieces of cake I've ever had. Hats off for that one! We went back later to take a piece home, but it was all gone, which made my girlfriend a little grumpy 😂

Staff were friendly and professional. Only one toilet which I guess could get busy during peak times, but as we got there before the early tide cut off, we virtually had it to ourselves. Small inside, it felt nice and cosy. Wish we'd gone back for lunch, some great savoury options as well as other cakes.

Wish I'd picked up some ground coffee at the time but will order some online.

Super impressed by this...

I have ordered coffee from here many times after visiting Holy Island. It is the best coffee I have ever tasted! The shipping is always on time, and comes with a friendly message. It's also really good value compared to what you pay for artisan coffee in other parts of the UK, and about the same price as an upmarket big brand in the supermarket. So it is definitely worth the postage if you buy a few bags of beans. I felt compelled to write a new review recently after I ordered some coffee, and found the customer service to be above and beyond expectations. I accidentally ordered beans instead of my usual ground coffee. Jonny from Pilgrims texted me to ask if this was correct as he'd seen I normally ordered ground coffee from my order history. He also gave me a personal discount code on my next order as I'd ordered 10 times and they don't yet have their subscription service in place. I will definitely continue to order coffee from pilgrims. I actually hate that I am not organised enough to order regularly, and end up buying inferior (and more expensive) coffee from...

The coffee is strong. They offer 2 cup sizes. Coffee roasted on site. Dog friendly. This placed was packed mid week. Queue out the door. The staff and service was very engaging and accommodating. They made a cold milk chocolate for one of their demanding little customers. Sitting area outside and limited (6?)seats inside. Good selection of sandwiches including 2 veggie options. Toasted ciabattas (pre made) are popular. The crab sandwich appears to be the most popular. They do a good salad. A nice dressing on this. They do a soup of the day and comes with bread. They do children lunch boxes. Juice, Health snack and a choice of ham or cheese sandwich. A good selection of cakes, coffee, carrot and flapjack on my day. A fridge full of soft drinks and nothing main steam commercial. One toilet, clean, which you get to outside the back. They also sell coffee to take away in packs. They also sell T shirts.

Pilgrim's Coffee is a truly quaint and charming coffee house and is an absolute must-visit when on Holy Island (Lindisfarne). It’s not just about the great drinks; it's an ideal spot to pass some time while waiting for the causeway tide to leave. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our drinks—the Gingerbread Latte was a delicious, festive choice, and the Hot Chocolate was equally great. The quality of both was fantastic. If you’re looking for a warm, comfortable haven to relax before heading back across the causeway, this is the place. Highly recommend!
