Portobello — Restaurant in England

I walked past this morning and out of the corner of my eye I noticed what turn out to be your smoked mackerel salad topped with quartered hard boiled egg. After 100 yds I turned round and walked back and I am so glad I did! Absolute first class smiley service and the mackerel salad was utterly delicious. But I was blown away by the taste of the pork sausage roll, with a hint of mustard, truly a marriage made in heaven, astonishingly delicious! The only downside was if I had known how lovely the sausage roll turned out to be I would have bought several for later. Well done to you all and I’ll be back on my next visit to...

Food was very good, I ordered a salad granary cob which was cheese, red onion chutney and leaves cob and a latte which was really nice. My dad and brother had chicken and stuffing soft white roll and you get plenty of filling which they really enjoyed.

Clean area and the salad bowls looked really nice.

Would be great if there were tables and chairs outside as there were only two stools inside because it's a small place. Would have liked to have sat nearby to eat it.

Absolutely brilliant! We had the Steak and Ale pie which was top notch, it came with the sort of gravy I would lick off a shirt the next day if I found I’d spilt some. We also had dauphinois potatoes, which were garlic and cream perfection. They said it was for 4, but you could def serve 6 with it unless you’re a really fat badger. All for £30!! You could probably do better, but not for that price! Best money I’ve spent since I got a gravy stained shirt off eBay for a tenner and found a fiver...
