First of all I want to apologise for how long it has taken me to write a review! I booked a table for myself and husband on 4th November for my birthday. The food and service were spot on! I would especially like to thank Beatris and Isabella for going above and beyond for us. We left to go home to find that our car had been locked in the car park and we were unable to get the car seat out to get my newborn daughter safely home in a taxi. I went back to the restaurant to change and feed my daughter as she has woken up and Beatris asked if we were OK. She offered reassurance and support and asked around if anyone could help get us home. Beatris asked Isabella who offered us a lift from her husband which was extremely kind but unfortunately as we didn't have a car seat I did not want to take the risk. Both Beatris and Isabella continued to ask around if anyone could help get us home. An hour later we manged to get our brother-in-law to collect us but their hospitality didn't stop there. Isabella walked across the road holding an umbrella while my husband carried my daughter as it was pouring with rain, she then came back for me with the pram. She then gave us an umbrella to keep. I cannot thank the staff enough for looking after us. It's overwhelming being a new Mum and for the first time I wanted to go out with my daughter for dinner as it was my birthday. She was completely content until we couldn't get home and the staff really helped make this experience less stressful. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Read moreWe will NEVER order from Salsa again. The customer service is appalling. After ordering for delivery from their website, it never arrived. We paid almost £70 for our order last night. We contacted the restaurant and they couldn't figure out what was going on. Then they called back and said we had to contact Uber who they use for delivery. It is not up to the customer to track everything down. When we ordered we were not even given a confirmation. We didn't receive a receipt, absolutely nothing. Uber has given the runaround for the last 24 hours because there is no order in their app, because it was done through Salsa's website. We want our money back!
**Update - Uber has stopped responding and refuse to even give us a contact number. They said basically that they can't help us because it wasn't done through their app, it was done through Salsa's website, and told us we had to contact the merchant when the merchant sent us to Uber in the first place. Neither Salsa nor Uber is taking responsibility, they're just pocketing the £70 and thinking we should just forget about it. We've put in a complaint about Uber with Trading Standards, and we're considering reporting Salsa as well.

Read moreI wish I could give this place 0 stars, we first got in there and the waitress seemed nice, this quickly changed when we was upset with our food, when I told her my food wasn’t nice at all, the calamari was very fatty and the batter was like a doughnut she said “this is just how it is” she then took it and stormed off. My friend then found a hair inbedded into her chip, the waitress said she would get the manager and after waiting for 10 minutes she came over to take our plates and said “you ok?” So she had found out the manager was in a meeting and didn’t decide to inform us, she then said “do you want to speak with him” she stormed off and was shouting in the kitchen, he then came out and spoke with us while standing with his arms crossed saying “everyone in the kitchen has short hair so it did not come from us” we suggested that maybe where they purchase the chips, is where the hair came from since the hair was within the chip. He kept trying to deny this, we told him this is not ok and he should still take responsibility as it was obviously not our hair. He then walked off without an apology and said “don’t pay for anything then”.
We did not receive any apology from the waitress or the manager and was left to walk out of the restaurant upset and confused about what we had just experienced. This is not the outcome we imagined; we wanted to inform them about the food so they can fix the problem and improve.
