Dub Kitchen Southend — Local services in Great Britain

As of writing this review there are 68 5-Star marks, no doubt many more 5 Star bellies happily fed as well yet to publish their happy experiences. Finally plucked up the courage to try something new and wow! I’m the fussy git in the family so this is on me, my family of 5 and I were warmly welcomed into this cosy aroma filled Dub Kitchen from the moment I peered through the door. We downed delicious Pineapple shakes after the initial select was unavailable, destiny or something but worth the change, we gobbled outstanding selections from the menu, from Coconut Curry (me) to Jerk Chicken/Lamb and wings with some of the best tasting coleslaw I’ve ever had, beef pattie was so tender you could be fooled for thinking it was a vegi pattie, so dam yummy!. I feel guilty walking past this wonderful place so many times but never being quite sure if it would be for me and not wanting to put these kind folks out because of my fussy needs, doubts erased after this visit. Absolutely wonderful hosts from start to us waddling out with filled bellies, very tasty food, thank you folks for feeding us, we will be back for sure! Really loved the food here. It's affordable, good quality, and great portions. Also very clean inside. I came to Southend for the first time, checked good places to eat, and Dub popped up. I ordered the jerk chicken with plain rice and coleslaw, with a side of lamb pattie. It was so yummy that I came back the next day and I ordered the jerk pork with rice and peas, coleslaw, and a side of beef pattie. I spent £8.95 for each day. The meat is juicy and packed with flavour. I will definitely be visiting here again if I do come back to Southend, and I am secretly hoping they would add plantains to their menu...

I was recommended Dub Kitchen by a friend, so on the way home from work, I thought I’d give it a go. I ordered a wrap for myself, a selection of sides and a burrito for my partner, both with jerk chicken. Both of these items from the menu were delicious, with the jerk chicken packing a flavour punch, but not overwhelming the other ingredients in the wrap or burrito. The service was incredibly good, with the guy taking orders being polite, and informative and the food being ready very quickly. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for some...
