We usually have great food from here but last nights fish and chips were very disappointing... The fish was the best bit, but the batter was that thick (nearly 2 centimeters) which when cut open was stodgy white gooey batter.. The chips were pale, under cooked and terribly greasy we couldnt eat them, almost like the oil wasn't hot enough while cooking... I suppose everyone has their off days! we will try again... This is honest constructive criticism to help improve your business..

If we lived closer we would have popped back for fresh food. I wish I had taken pics for you to see... its the first time we have ever had batter that thick from your shop, I doubt it would be to anyone's liking... For someone who sells chips for a living you really need to learn how to...

Can be very hit and miss. Sometimes a standard chips is a good size. Then sometimes you order large as it’s tiny. Really depends on who is serving you I think. Got a large chips and two fish to share, their was not enough chips for one person! This has happened more than once. You need to be consistent with what you get for each size of chips. Nothing worse than getting a large chips as the standard last time was tiny and you get so much you have to waste some, then next time you get large and it’s hardly enough for one person. Stopped going due to this and now use riverside. Shame as it’s a good chip shop...

Came to bridgnorth for the day, and we thought well, you can't have a nice day out without having Fish and Chips for your tea.

Now I had a Meat and Potato Pie and that was fantastic, the pastry was nice and cooked through, the meat was cooked perfectly with a bit of chew and the potato kept a good consistency throughout.

Now the chips, they were delicious they were crispy, not too heavy in batter and no heavy with potato win the middle.

I would seriously recommend this place as this is one of the best places I have tried in Shropshire for fish and chips or whatever you...
