This lovely little hut has become one of our favourite little go-tos when a lunchtime treat is on the cards. Dogs are welcome and accommodated for - but not in a way that would put you off if you weren't dog friendly yourself - so it's an ideal stop if you're combining a canine walk and coffee stop. And if you are, the coffee is very, very, good. Kids are welcome, too, which is another massive bonus, and they're very well catered for. We have two fierce food critics, aged 7 and 9, who don't normally eat outside of their comfort zone (cafe - fish finger sandwich, restaurant - pizza, maybe a burger.... and so on. Predominantly beige.) but they love it here. Bolognese? Wolfed down in no time with only a red sauce beard left to prove it ever existed. Cod bites?Might as well be a Mustang called Eleanor because they were gone in sixty seconds. The chips? Well, according to the boys, perhaps the best in the world (and perfectly seasoned to boot). Not bad coming from them. I had the pulled pork burger (again) and it was delicious - not your bland pork riddled with HP BBQ sauce like the trend has seen over the last few years, but a pulled pork with a proper spicy kick to it (without being blow-your-head-off nasty). Very nice. And the staff are also lovely - always friendly, always attentive, and obviously care a lot about what they're doing. If I was to be really picky and find fault? I honestly don't think I could. Spot on...
Read moreWhat a fantastic place for breakfast, lunch or just a drink or snack! I'm a coeliac, intolerant to dairy and vegetarian. I rang ahead as I usually do in order to check what my options were. The lady that I spoke to was very lovely and confidently explained that basically anything on the menu could be gf and dairy free and how various items could be modified if necessary. This instantly made me confident that this was a good place to visit. When we got there the location was outstanding overlooking Fistral beach on a beautiful sunny day. The gentleman that we spoke to tried his best to accommodate our group of 8 and said that it would be about 20 minute wait for a table that size. However after about 5 minutes he had come to find us to tell us that our table was ready. When I ordered, the lady at the counter was very friendly and accommodating of my dietary needs, offering to change items for alternatives (surprisingly uncommon, often items are just taken off). The meal itself was delicious and I left wanting to try more! Next time we are back I will definitely be trying the HUGE thick pancakes that can also be nade gluten free! I'm so impressed with this place and how accodomating and friendly they are. Highly recommend for anyone in the area. We will...

During our visit, we indulged in some of their cakes, and I must say, the KitKat cake and carrot cake were absolutely amazing. Each slice was rich and flavorful, clearly made with high-quality ingredients. The cakes paired beautifully with their expertly brewed coffee, making for a delightful afternoon treat.
