Sonder is hands down my favourite coffee shop in Salisbury. The team are always so friendly and genuinely happy to see you, it feels like catching up with old friends every time I visit. They’re a brilliant mix of creatives too, with poets, singers and artists all bringing something a bit magical to the place.

The atmosphere is cosy, relaxed and totally different to anywhere else in the city. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel at home, and there’s always something interesting going on or someone lovely to chat to.

They serve delicious cakes from local small businesses (which I absolutely love to support - Dunk'd Cookies are my fave right now!), and they’re very dog friendly, my two pups are always have a pupuccino and biscuit, which they adore, especially after a wander round the busy Charter Market on a Saturday. We always find a comfy spot to sit, relax and take it all in.

I’ve also used their co-working space, which is such a great low-cost way to work from the city centre, looking out at the Cathedral entrance and watching the world go by.

If you’re in Salisbury, do pop into Sonder, it’s an independent gem and well...

Very dissapointed. Visited today in need of speciality coffee. Lovely service but coffee was horrible. Not sure what happened today - judging by the reviews, coffee beans on offer and the equipment I was expecting a great cup of coffee. However, what we got was very far from it. It wasn't under or over extracted, it wasn't burnt but it tasted either as if the machine has never been cleaned or there were defected beans.. We got two espressos, I couldn't even finish mine and my husband finished but it made him gag. Definitely not how I know beans from Extract Coffee Roasters! Unfortunately, we took the coffees away and tasted them while already out of the premises, otherwise I would challenge the baristas. I'd recommend daily quality checks while dialing in...

Sonder Coffee is hands down one of the best spots in Salisbury. The coffee is consistently excellent; smooth, rich, and clearly made with care.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a modern yet cozy vibe that makes it the perfect place to relax, catch up with friends, or get some work done.

The staff are always friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do, which really makes the experience stand out.

Whether you’re a coffee enthusiast or just looking for a great cafĂ© to unwind, Sonder is an absolute gem in the heart of Salisbury.

Id love to call it a coffee house, but it’s more like a coffee home!...

Sonder is a modest cafĂ© that clearly takes its coffee seriously. I enjoyed a black americano that was impressively well-prepared, showcasing a depth of flavour that’s hard to find in many places. Though I didn’t get a chance to try them, the pastries, toasties, and sweets on display looked inviting enough to jot down as a must-try for next time. The staff were polite and attentive, adding to the welcoming atmosphere that makes Sonder an ideal spot for a relaxed coffee break. One tip for newcomers—if the downstairs seating looks full, don’t be quick to leave; there’s a cosy upstairs area with plenty more seating, perfect for settling in.

I always visit Sonder for a coffee, so much so that I am borderline getting the sack at work for not being around enough. The smell and taste reminds me of the years I spent travelling around Columbia searching for the perfect coffee beans. Now I realise that they were at Sonder Coffee all along! They are all really friendly and very welcoming every time we come in! My dog Billy is their number 2 fan
I’m number 1! The owner Amber has done a great job since opening the shop last year and I’m hoping I can ask out the really awkward girl, who works there, out on a date soon
 wish me luck everyone!
