My second time visiting a Cosy Club location. It did not disappoint. The bar / lounge area at this location is a feast for the eyes. We sat on the main sofa in the middle of the room, and were able to take in the full view of the entire room. The place has a sense of opulence yet very cozy at the same time. The mix of natural sunlight and the interior lighting made it too easy to feel relaxed there. We ordered the British Beef Burger and sweet potato fries which we had before at another location. I had been craving these two items since trying them earlier in the week. I am happy to say the quality of the food was consistent. Both the burger and sweet potato fries were just as good as I remembered them at the other location. Truly amazing decor and consistent good food quality and service offered at a reasonable price, that's a winning recipe in my book. Good job, Cosy Club.

The Cosy Club is ideally situated for a nice relaxing breakfast before heading to the shops as its only 2 minutes walk from the Old George Mall. There is a choice of indoor seating or if its warm enough you can sit outside in the courtyard to the rear of the building. Our drinks were brought over promptly and my wife really enjoyed her coffee any I had several cups from my pot of tea. There is a good selection of items on the breakfast menu but I decided to go for the traditional English breakfast. The food arrived quite quickly and although it was tasty the bacon was rather overcooked and the sausage was rather on the small side (although it was very tasty) - I would have thought 2 rashers of bacon would have been more generous. The service was great and the surroundings were comfortable although be aware that people are allowed to take their dogs inside.

Cosy Club made an immediate impression as soon as I stepped inside. The interior feels thoughtfully crafted, with every item—from the lighting fixtures to the eclectic wall art and mismatched furniture—adding to a quirky yet elegant atmosphere. It’s the kind of place where the attention to detail doesn’t go unnoticed, and that alone creates a certain allure. The cocktails lived up to expectations, and I found myself pleasantly surprised by how expansive the space was. It’s not just a bar, but also a spot where you could easily imagine enjoying a full dinner. With its inviting ambience and spacious layout, I’d confidently call it the best spot in Salisbury for cocktails. The charming little terrace, which I imagine would be delightful in the warmer months, adds to its appeal. I’m already planning to return, perhaps for dinner next time.

Costly Club… Mean Portions!

BUSINESS RESPONSE:

See response from Stu and Team to this review below. Stu if you’re going to follow a process - Why not start with me? I’m still very unhappy. You have a process for that you say. Seems not.

Pointless pretending you sort problems out when you’ve chosen to miss this very one. My response would have been - “We are sorry to hear you had a bad experience. Please come back and we’ll make amends to prove it was a one off” Sadly your response now means I’ll never come back. No point. I’ll put no more words in your mouths and I certainly won’t put any of Cosy Clubs food in mine. Shame.

CUSTOMER REVIEW:

If you want to pay £13 for brunch that consists of 2 limp cold sourdough tracing paper thin slices of toast, 2 sweaty mushrooms, 2 hash browns straight out of the freezer, a string of squashed baby tomatoes, a thimble of beans, 1 limp veggie sausage and a teaspoon of avocado then this is the place for you. When we were asked How everything was? we asked our server why it was so poor and mean on the plate… They laughed and actually agreed. The bill came and they stood waiting for a tip. Here’s a tip for anyone reading this… Avoid. Hugely disappointing. Costly Club, Lousy Club!

We left and went directly somewhere else to get...

"Cosy" it is NOT.

Here's just a few notes that I made on our one and only visit for brunch, after seeing all the raving reviews and looking at the photos on Google and their website.

Walked in and the manager greeted me as "mate" (this is a personal preference but it's one that immediately sets the tone of a place)

The cutlery and glasses were disgusting, dirty, had fingerprints and all kinds of stains.

We order two coffees to start, both were Luke warm, almost cold.

The bar was noise with a lot of clanging, smashing, and things being thrown around... That noise echos throughout the place.

The sofa and seating areas are absolutely Filthy! With hair, dirt, food, and I don't know what.

The general atmosphere was unpleasant and cold.

The staff (except one young guy) seemed to be super tired, completely disinterested, and rude

I asked for some Water - and was told "it's at the end of the bar, you can get it yourself"

The food wait wasn't too bad - 15-20 minutes (for a sandwich, fried, but the bread was soggy)

The saving grace was the garlic prawns, which were well seasoned, and garlic sauce was nice.

The crayfish was also good but not great.

I may have expected a bit too much going in, but definitely left without ever...

Went for lunch on saturday . Had booked a table for 3 but when we arrived we asked the manager Jos if we could change it to 5 people . She looked flabbergasted that we had asked her this as it was one week before Christmas and they were so busy . She sat us at a table for 4 and there was no way she was prepared to put an extra chair at either side of the table as it would stop access to kitchen . We asked if she could turn table around but there was NO WAY she was relenting saying if we had called 20mins before arrival she could have done something ! My other relatives left we were so angry as we could see a table empty by the wall that could have easily accommodated us but this manager was having none of it ! The computer said No ! She was so so unhelpful and at the end of the meal when I pointed out the spare table and someone had put a pram near our table which we were told had to keep clear ! She said she would take our drinks off , we would have preferred to have had a nice Christmas catch up with our family . She had no Christmas spirit ,not at all friendly and I would say needs more customer training and thinking ‘ outside the box’ . Our waiter could see our distress and kept apologising I think he should have been...
