Unfortunately not a good experience on this occasion. Marcus, the manager, refused us as customers, even if there were plenty of free tables, he said they are full booked for next hour and half. I asked him about top floor, he said that is full. As it was hard to belive it, I walked out and made an online reservation, came back, Marcus "welcomed" us, ready to reject us for the second time, but when I showed him online reservation, he dind't have other option then to give us a table. I asked him why he refused customers when there were available tables, otherwise I couldnt make online reservation, instead to apologies, Marcus continued with his charade (lies): I was lucky as there was a last minute cancellation. We been seated, but no one pay attention to us over 10 min, I put my hand up to get some attention, the waitress first asked Marcus if she have to serve us, after his confirmation she gave us menus. Because we had plenty of time to decide about drinks while we were waiting for food menu, we let know the waitress that we are ready to order our drinks. The waitress didn't bother to ask me if I want ice, so my apple juice was full of ice, after I "fished"out the ice, there was half glass of apple juice. While we were waiting for food, I asked both left table (they arrived before us) and right table (they arrived after us) if they have reservation: the answer was no (it seemes there were massive cancellations :)) ). The food was good, as I expected. Really disappointing, but this won't stop me to come back, I'm sure there are still kind and polite staff

“Generously filled” calzone, what do you think; photos attached… I've had this dinner at other restaurants more than six times, and each time it's been great. It is a terrible shame that this pizza was so "unfulfilling" after I recommended to my friend to try it on our trip back from London. Manager indicated this was usual, however I think it's a rip-off at £17.50 per person. He even claimed that the quality and total sizes of pizza depend on "each chef's ability and how they need the dough" from branch to branch. To a consumer, this statement suggests that he has a subpar chef, which is not good to hear. I also don't understand why he requested that I return everything to the kitchen if I was only going to receive what he believes to be correct (would be intrigued to see what the pizza did look like upon returning) however was in a needing to get back on the road sooner rather than later. For your information, the male toilet appliances is in terrible shape, with a broken toilet seat that you must hold when using as well as out of order urinal. Downstairs, the staff were really kind, but the manager was unprofessional and patronising to which my friend agreed. This friend I brought with me said he was happy with his meal to the rude manager but when the manager left later confirmed he was not and said it’s also disappointing. A typical restaurant dinner leaves me very rarely dissatisfied but this Prezzo was a bad experience and the manager needs some training in manors - at least the drinks were good.

Back again at my favourite restaurant as it is my go to in Salisbury. The venue is a lovely old building too. This time I had the Grande Cheese Burger £14.25 (it was tasty a little dry tbh), it comes with no sides not even fries which are £4.95!!!!!!!!!!!, I opted for the Pancetta Mac and Cheese Bites bites for £4.95, have to say this was a let down the burger for that price should come with fries, the side I received for my £5 was 3 pieces, far too small portion for the price. My friend had the Chicken, Bacon & Avocado Salad £15.95 which was excellent and saved the day which was a decent portion and tasty. We did use a tastecard which gives 241 meals, so I cannot complain at all it was amazing value! £27 for 2 meals and drinks. I will stick to their Italian offerings next time as they are all great! Thanks Prezzo Salisbury, you are still my favourite restaurant in Salisbury, I know head offices sets the prices and menus not you :)

We went on a Tuesday night and managed to book a table online easily for 2 people.

The restaurant is easy to find using Google.

Lush House car park a few minutes walk away which is free in the evenings. The car park was busy but we managed to get a space. On a busier day it may be difficult to park here as space is limited. There is also the Multi Story car park about the same distance if required.

When we arrived, outside the restaurant there was a group of 4 people smoking right outside the door. As non-smokers we did not enjoy this but ignored the horrible smell and went in.

The entrance area was sealed off from the main restaurant with a thick, heavy curtain to help stop the draught coming in. Walking into a small, dark space with only a hand sanitiser dispenser present was a surprise. There were no signs or indication on what best to do (it sounds odd to say but it did have me confused for a few seconds) before we parted them and stepped into the restaurant.

The restaurant was busy but we were see to quickly by the very friendly and helpful waitress.

We were seated quickly . Our seats were by the door which I woukd recommend avoiding on cold nights or if you do not like the smell of smoke whilst you are eating.

Every time someone came in or out of the restaurant, I had to get up to close the curtains to stop the cold air and nicotine laced draught from blowing directly at us. There were no signs to instruct people to close the curtains and staff were too busy to notice themselves.

We did move seats eventually but it was still not enough to stop this from happening.

We ordered drinks, unfortunately there were no hot drinks available due to a broken coffee machine depsite it being below 0° outside. Apparently the art of making hot drinks by hand has been long forgotten in most places that now rely on pre-programmed machines. This was a shame.

Despite it being busy, we were seen to quickly. The service was excellent.

Our food arrived quickly and whilst it looked lovely, the quality just isn't there.

For starters I ordered fried mozzarella. Unfortunately, the dish was bland and required the side portion of tomato relish to liven the affair up.

My wife ordered Beef Ravolini which was also bland and watery. Very little beef flavour to speak of and the wet pasta added nothing but disappointment to the experience.

For mains, I ordered a Gorgonzola truffle burger which was a fairly simple affair and whilst it delivered what it said on the menu it was certainly nothing to write home about. The quality of the food has more in common with large chain restaurant food now than we have previously experienced. Whilst filling, it was "ok".

My wife ordered a pizza and it is the first time in 17 years that I have seen her ask for ketchup to put on her food to add flavour. The food just wasn't up to scratch. Had we been paying full price, we would probably have complained. Thankfully we weren't.

We both ordered drinks which were recognised brand alcoholic drinks. Mine came in a bottle with a glass and my wife's in a can with a glass. Normally, I wouldn't have a problem with pouring my own drink but the prices that these were coming in at (even in today's environment), I was expecting more than a bottle being placed in front of me!

We ordered dessert. I had tiramisu which was nice. I have certainly had nicer and once again it was clearly a bought-in, ready made affair plonked on to a plate. It was however the tastiest thing I ate that evening.

My wife ordered an orange cheesecake which was again a pre-prepared affair and was dry and powdery.

When the bill came we were surprised as to how expensive the meal was. With everything coming in at just under £45 each!

Our waitress was lovely and very efficient and was probably the highlight of our evening. Unfortunately the drinks were expensive, the overpriced food was poor quality, the restaurant was cold, it stank of smoke and any sense of the restaurant being anything other than another chain has sadly gone. We didn't take pictures as we were...
