Friendly, yummy and ‘soup’er

Today I went in with a friend and we were attended to and seated very quickly, and Jade introduced herself as our waitress!

Jade had a friendly smile and is very welcoming asking us if we’ve eaten here before, which we haven’t, so she gave us a helping hand. The menu looks very vibrant and has plenty of options for many different tastes. In addition, the drinks menu has a range of drinks including fresh juice like smoothie drinks which I have never really noticed in any other restaurant.

I ordered the Duck Raman Soup dish and my friend ordered the Udon with chicken ginger dish with the “repair” smoothie drink, and I went safe with the cloudy lemonade. The food came reasonably quick and is garnished very well, packed with flavour! The portions are very generous I had to take the rest of the Raman on a journey home.

Overall, a pretty perfect dining experience! If I were to be picky, I would love to see some feature points (like a Japanese theme ornament or something) around the walls or somewhere in the restaurant - maybe remove a mirror or two off the walls because I felt weird staring at myself whilst my friend went to the...

Must have been an off day as the customer service we received yesterday was terrible. We were left waiting at the entrance for over 5 minutes despite there being no other people waiting to be seated, and 4 staff members in a huddle by the kitchen chatting away. When we were finally approached by a staff member, there was no apology or greeting just "table for 3". We were then seated by one staff member with no drinks menu provided, which another staff member only realised when she came to take our order. Placing the actual order was fine, but then when they started to bring our food out, there was no cutlery on the table. When I asked for some, the waitress proceeded to take a single fork off another table which already had customers on and state that's "all she could find at the moment"...which considering we were a party of 3 was ridiculous. They then brought more food out from our order but still no additional cutlery, so again we had to ask for some.

Despite this the food was amazing as always, but someone really needs to grip the customer service delivery in...
