A gem in the middle of a paradise. We were completely taken by surprise to find a Kerala food restaurant in Cotswold. Mustafa and Salim were amazing making us feel at home. Very much kid friendly since the staff was very accommodating to the demands of our 2yr old. Plenty of parking within the restaurant lot. Food was super yummy and we could see that most of the guests were regulars and locals who knew the quality of the food and service. This was very close to our AirBnB in a wonderful location. We ordered kerala parotha, veg malabari, Beetroot and Spinach pachadi, kerala king prawn, fish curry varutharachathu, Chicken puratiyathu, and everything was mouth watering. Highly recommend to stop by if you are anywhere near Cotswold or Bath and you won't go wrong if you're a fan of Indian food, especially Kerala cuisine!

The food was good, but the service was disappointing. We were served by a Malayali staff (He is in his 40s) member who exhibited a discriminatory attitude. He was polite and attentive to the local UK customers but treated us poorly, possibly because we're from Kerala. When I paid the bill and thanked him, he ignored me, yet he was courteous to the native customer right behind me. It was a disheartening experience, especially since we share the same heritage. I would not recommend this restaurant to fellow Keralites.

A gem we found enroute to Malmesbury Abbey. The food is just delicious, so much so that I wish I lived close by I would come here all the time. We got the lamb purathiyathu, vegetable Malabar and the Kerala porotha - all 3 dishes were outstanding. The porotha was so authentic - what I'm used to back home. I would highly recommend this place. They currently have a 20% lunch discount too. Service was so good too - hot towel at the end, mint chocolate with the bill, food suggestions.

We were very disappointed after reading the reviews we were expecting something good don't understand. We were asked if we wanted poppadoms before we had sat down. The onion salad wasnt fresh it looked tired like it had started to wither. I asked if the curry was similar to a madras and I think he misunderstood and made it hotter because they thought that was what I wanted. It was hot but no taste the other curry was a unusual taste. The naan bread was small pale doughy under cooked. Water costs £3.50 and costs more than the other drinks. The side dish of beetroot and spinach tasted strange. The best bit was the pilau rice and the coke. The service was hurried there was only two other people in there. There are a lot of the normal dishes on the menu. We had been to cafe diwali in Salisbury a few times and we thought this would be sort of similar. We have been around to a fair few places and this was definitely a bit of a weird one and the bill we thought...

Absolutely fantastic food (above average) however and it's very annoying but the ambience let's the place down. The lighting is far too bright which means you can see how rundown the paint work is. The roof need a proper paint and you can see numbers that have been painted over next to each table which rally cheapens the place. The music was awful no authentic not romantic just awful. The portions were on the smaller side but that's a minor issue as the food was top class.

Give the place a good paint job, lower the lighting and add some mood like candles and it would one of the best restraints in the cotswolds.

Did I say the food was...
