Spice of Life in Grimsby truly encapsulates the essence of a top-notch Indian dining experience. From the moment you step in, the warm and inviting atmosphere sets the stage for a memorable meal. The restaurant's clean and well-decorated interior adds a touch of sophistication, creating a pleasant ambiance that enhances the overall dining experience. One of the standout features at Spice of Life is their commendable commitment to prompt service. The staff is attentive and efficient, ensuring that your orders are taken swiftly and delivered to your table without unnecessary delays. This aspect significantly contributes to the restaurant's reputation as one of the better Indian establishments in town. When it comes to the culinary offerings, Spice of Life boasts a diverse and flavorful menu, showcasing the richness of Indian cuisine. The chefs skillfully balance traditional recipes with a modern twist, ensuring a satisfying experience for both connoisseurs and those new to Indian flavors. The menu includes a variety of dishes catering to different preferences, from aromatic curries to tandoori delights. While the restaurant's drinks selection is impressive, featuring a range of wines and beers, there is room for improvement in the absence of cocktails. Adding a cocktail menu could elevate the dining experience, providing patrons with a more extensive array of beverage options to complement the bold and intricate flavors of Indian cuisine. Despite this small suggestion, the overall dining experience at Spice of Life remains exceptional. The attentive service, combined with the flavorful and well-prepared dishes, creates a synergy that keeps patrons coming back. The restaurant's commitment to cleanliness and maintaining a welcoming ambiance further enhances its reputation as a go-to spot for Indian food enthusiasts in Grimsby. In conclusion, Spice of Life not only lives up to its name by adding vibrancy to the Grimsby culinary scene but also succeeds in offering a well-rounded dining experience. Whether you're a seasoned fan of Indian cuisine or a newcomer looking to explore new flavors, Spice of Life is undoubtedly a gem worth discovering.

Me and bf went here for the first time yesterday evening. From the second you walk in, you notice just how beautiful it is inside and we were greated by the staff who seated us promptly. After we had looked at the menu for some time, because we couldn't decide from all the wonderful dishes they had to offer, the waiter asked us each what kind of meat, flavours and spices we liked to which he recommended the Lamb Karahi. We both ordered it along with the Saag Aloo, Tarka Daal, Chilli Cheese Naans, Mushroom & Special Rice. Once the food was ready it was brought over on a little trolley and I was amazed at what I saw and smelt. The Lamb Karahis were sizzling away in pans and the colours of the food was extrodinary. The food was immense and so deliciously tasty that we ate the lot! From the amazing food, excellent service and how beautifully it is decorated (from the lighting down the seating), we will definitely be coming back. If you haven't eaten here before, I would highly recommend it - you will not be disappointed! :)

This is the worst most disgusting curry I have ever had. Seekh kabab was just greasy, dry lamb mince stuck together without flavour, and the main Sylheti was inedible. I threw the whole lot away. On the menu it says this should be ‘hot’ but it had no heat whatsoever, despite me making a specific request on the app for it to be so. Additionally the ‘mix’ of flavours advertised were non existent. It was just a mint tasting chicken sludge. Never again will I order from this place. Horrific.

BARATHKUMAR BALACHANDRAN i have used your serive on for the past two months, But I have made on order today through you with spice of life in grimbsby. Am not happy with their serivces as well as you, When i contacted with your. My order no is 148432654. Chat started Farid joined the chat Farid Good Evening, you're through to Farid at JUST EAT, how can I help? BARATHKUMAR BALACHANDRAN I have used your serive on for the past two months, But I have made on order today through you with spice of life in grimbsby. Am not happy with their serivces as well as you, When i contacted with your customer care they are not also repsone to me. My order no is 148432654. Farid I'm really sorry to hear that. Please bear with me for a few moments while I look into this for you. Barathkumar, what was the issue with your order? Hello, are you still there? You haven't responded for some time, do you still require my help? BARATHKUMAR BALACHANDRAN I have ordered my things on 18.45, but they are delivered on 17.45 (One hour before) and i have ordered the things on Pure vegeterian. But they are mixed up with Non- Vegeterians along with eggs. this is not a first time ordered by me in your just eat. I have ordered so many times. Farid BARATHKUMAR I can see you have not left any note regarding an egg less meal? BARATHKUMAR BALACHANDRAN I have ordered the vegeterian Briyani. What trying say to me? What is the Meaning of Vegeterian? Can you go and see with Dictionary. I have clearly mentioned as a vegeterian meal only. then egg is a vegeterian? Are you hearing withe me? Mr.Farid Farid BARATHKUMAR the takeaway's vegetarian meal included egg, however if you require your order without egg you need to mention this on the notes. As you have accepted the food now and the order is paid for what I can offer to is call the takeaway and see if they can make an eggless order and re-send this and collect your sent order. As you can understand every takeaway operates differently and without any notes left on order they make their order as they would normally unless stated on the notes of the order. BARATHKUMAR BALACHANDRAN Anyway I am not looking for your relationship Just. Eat.uk.Because i am suffered today, I think you are not hungry in your life,If the situatioun happen in future, you have to remember for me for this, Because I have spended for my meal for 20.45 (Twenty Pounds and Forty five Pense) You are not replying my answers, Good Luck. Farid BARATHKUMAR What I would suggest in any future order is to leave notes on the order and if your order is too early you can turn the order down and the takeaway will have to re-deliver your order again at your requested time. In this circumstance the takeaway have agreed to offer you a £5 voucher to your order which can be used towards your next order with any JUST EAT takeaway . would you like me to process this for you? BARATHKUMAR BALACHANDRAN Dont educate me, First of all you have to correct your mistakes, I am not looking for the Bullshit of 5 Pounds, Already I have loosed my 20.45 (Twenty Pounds and Forty five pounds). Hereafter am not ready to fool, with your team. Thanks and all the best. Dont frustrate others feelings.

Extremely disappointed with our experience in the restaurant last night and because of our experience and the things we saw the four of us will no longer be a customer of Spice of Life. Table booked for seven. We didn't even have time to sit down and look at the menu before the waitress was trying to get our drinks order. She was asked to give us a minute politely and respectfully. Well that minute turned into more then 20 minutes. When she did return we asked which flavoured Gins they had. "I don't know" she then stood there waiting for us to asked for different drinks. She eventually went to ask. When she came back with the answer we asked for one orange, one pink, one raspberry and a vocka all with lemonade. Not a difficult order. The wait then began again. We then looked towards the bar to see the bar person sniffing our drinks😡. They all arrived in random glasses. Still no food order had been taken However we had poppadoms. A different waiter then apologised and took our order. More waiting. The table behind us was then served their food even though they came in ages after us. 1 hour 20 minutes later our starters arrived. We had to ask for plates, knifes and forks. The starter was lukewarm at best. Another drinks order was taken. The same four drinks. The waiter said he would try to remember the order. He then came back and asked what they were again. Quite awhile later he came back to say' bear with us your drinks are delayed as we are busy with a table of 30' Our mains then arrived. Again lukewarm and greasy. The naan bread was like a cracker. By this point we had gone past being hungry. Things get WORSE. We asked for tubs. The rude blonde older waitress got us some used and dirty tubs to place the food in. She threw them on the table and told us to fill them ourselves. We were all gobsmacked. Another nice young waiter then came and asked if we wanted him to put the food in the tubs. We showed him the tubs, he was so apologetic and got brand new ones. We were then meant to have birthday cake but by this point we had had enough. I asked for the cake to take home and for the bill. Another wait. In the end we had to go over to the till and wait for them to do the bill. We complained and said it wasn't good enough. They gave us £10 off but the money was not the point. They then tried to give us complementary drinks but we turned them down. As I said the issue was not the money but the terrible food, the shocking hygiene standards and the rubbish service. Dining out in these times should be something special and cherished. The Spice of Life has spoiled this moment. We will not be returning to the restaurant or takeaway,...
