Subway — Restaurant in England

Came in for a steak and cheese melt, took a bite and the bread was warm, the rest stone cold, cheese unmelted and pretty nasty.. Took the sandwich back to the shop, given a pretty rude response to wait for them to ring the manager. Offered a new sandwich, a delivery guy came in wanting to change a load of pound coins with the staff making the food, which she did, using the same gloves she'd just handled a load of pounr coins with, then proceeded to make my sandwich! No washing hands/changing gloves. I asked for a refund instead, that taken about 20 minutes as the staff didn't know how to process one on card. Then they said I wouldn't be refunded for the meal, just the sandwich. Very poor service. Need to address food hygiene/cross contamination issues ASAP!...

Recently moved to the Bishop Auckland area. Tried this subway 3 times. The first time the lady was absolutely lovely and could not fault her whatsoever. The second time literally the same week the second experience wasn't as friendly I.e no please or thank you but the woman did perk up a bit in the end. The 3rd experience was the worst yet and unfortunately I would not be returning. The guy didn't even know how to make the sandwich I wanted and I noticed at least 3 flys where the meat section was. I ordered on the app 25 minutes before I arrived. When I got there I stood in the queue for a further 10 minutes. Finally when I got to the from tof the queue I told the lady I ordered online and gave her the code. To which she said it would be another 5 minutes. Upon receiving the sandwiches the lady didn't give me the option of a bag so I walked out holding two sandwiches that were poorly wrapped. When I got home I realised they didn't give either of us the correct bread and had toasted the one that wasn't suppose to be toasted. Overall I will not be using this...
