Subway — Restaurant in England

Sorry to say that sadly todays visit to subway proved to very disappointing and not of the usual positive subway standard experienced at other subway outlets. The little book of savings is currently being accepted there and we handed in the coupon for two done for £6.99 ( thats 2 six inch subs, 2 cookies of crisps and 2 regular dispensed drinks) we were informed cup drinks only so we askws for 2 hot drinks and was told fizzy fountain drinks only, nowhere on the coupon does it say only cold drinks so we explained that due to medical reasons i could not have fizzy drinks and could we pay the extra difference in price for the hot drinks as other outlets had done this and got told NOooo as the manager will go mad and to have water, we explained I am sure the difference can be put through the till in an other way to which we were asked if we would like to come round and view the till ! It was obvious the staff member did not understand customer service and seemed very unsure of himself. So not as to cause him any undue stress or complicating maths we took the water and ended up buying separate coffees. On sitting down the General cleanliness of the seating really was not clean dispite their being adequate staff on shift for the general busyness of the shop. Never get an order right. Portions are very small despite the increased prices. Extras ie double portions, extra dips charged for never get. dressings ordered not always on the salads. The service has dropped drastically. I have previously rated a five, NOW A ONE ⭐. I avoid this branch of subway now. I always support local business but sorry not this, I've given several opportunities for the Widnes branch to show how good they can be. Now even the just eat delivery has been affected. Recently I was sent two salads costing over £20 they arrived in the narrow foot long cardboard boxes no cheese on one, no double meats which I paid extra for. The cardboard is not treated or acceptable for a salad in addition it is not a solid box possibly why they didn't put dressing on the food, as it would have just leaked out, and soaked into the cardboard, whereas the regular boxes are treated to hold moisture in. Opened the box the salad fell out, (not solid sides) both meals contaminated by the cardboard and binned. Shame on you Widnes road Subway!....

Once again ordered two sandwiches, both incorrect, this is like the tenth time they have sent the wrong or incorrect meal. Last week I found a hair in my sandwich and today they sent sandwiches on the wrong bread, not toasted as ordered and put cheese on my sandwich that I did not want. I went to the subway to speak to staff about the problem and was met with a snotty attitude. I explained I work hard for my money and am fed up of getting the wrong meal or incorrect meal. The staff here are really incompetent I said I’ll take other items for my money as I am not going to be able to to eat the sandwich they made. I got threatened with police so I just launched my sandwich at a wall in the premises. Clean that up as you need a new job eh.
