Good diversity of beer but not diversity of customers welcome. On my second beer (alone) outside the gentleman / owner behind the bar asked me to turn the volume down on my mobile phone as the customers inside couldn’t hear themselves talk. I found this quite astonishing as I could here their conversations over what I was listening to on my mobile phone. Had I being playing load music I could understand but i was watching a food recipe. I like to support local businesses but found the request quite rude. Unfortunately some places are diverse enough to cater for all age groups and some are not. Read moreUnscheduled visit to the three B's whilst on a fish and chip run for the family waiting on the beech. What a little gem of a drinking establishment! Asked the gaffer about his range of cider's and was given a choice of 15! I was given a sample of every drink I asked about and great information on the brewer and location of the drink in question. Ended up with 2 lovely pints of cider I'd not sampled before and a terrific pint of Barnsley bitter you simply can't find anywhere in the Midlands where I'm from.
