what a delightful birthday treat at this hidden gem of a filipino restaurant! from the moment we stepped in, we were enveloped in the warmth of filipino hospitality. the soft lighting and cheerful chatter created such a cosy atmosphere, it felt like being welcomed into a family home.

the real magic happened when we chatted with our lovely server about my birthday. to our surprise and delight, they offered to prepare two special dishes not on the menu - dinuguan and pork sinigang. these off-menu treasures truly made the evening unforgettable.

the dinuguan was rich and savoury, a comforting bowl that felt like a warm hug. and oh, the pork sinigang! its perfect balance of sour and savoury flavours danced on our taste buds. it was clear that every dish was crafted with love and generations of culinary wisdom.

One of the best things about Susan's: Oriental cuisine was the wide selection of asian/chinese food. *Food is prepared with precision and attention. *Large portion of serving and great value of money.

For all events: They take reservations for tables and ask for the menu ahead of time. (Also, please review the cancellation policy to prevent hustle for everyone involved).

For extra entertainment: Prosingers and non-singers alike can enjoy Videoke.

Parking: There are few street parking available in front. (We arrived at 7pm and it was free parking during that time)

We were in Yeovil not really decided yet what to have for dinner. Good thing my wife had been on Google and found this gem - a Filipino restaurant!

We ordered classic favourites - pork sinigang, bulalo, garlic butter prawns, laing and leche flan. We were not disappointed and all tasted great. It took a while to get the food served, but it tells how much attention was given to it. Even the coffee tasted great. This gives us a reason to return another time to taste the other foods on offer. I rate Susan's highly and would definitely recommend for excellent Filipino food. We went on a Sunday so the nearby car park was free of charge.
