what a delightful birthday treat at this hidden gem of a filipino restaurant! from the moment we stepped in, we were enveloped in the warmth of filipino hospitality. the soft lighting and cheerful chatter created such a cosy atmosphere, it felt like being welcomed into a family home.
the real magic happened when we chatted with our lovely server about my birthday. to our surprise and delight, they offered to prepare two special dishes not on the menu - dinuguan and pork sinigang. these off-menu treasures truly made the evening unforgettable.
the dinuguan was rich and savoury, a comforting bowl that felt like a warm hug. and oh, the pork sinigang! its perfect balance of sour and savoury flavours danced on our taste buds. it was clear that every dish was crafted with love and generations of culinary wisdom.
we left with full bellies and even fuller hearts. this restaurant doesn't just serve food; it serves up a slice of filipino culture and hospitality. what a perfect way to celebrate my birthday - surrounded by the aromas, flavours, and warmth of my mother's birthplace. we'll be back soon, craving not just the food, but the wonderful,...

(We came back a week after and had Crispy Pata, spring rolls and spaghetti, all tasty and the servings were generous. Once again had a lovely...
